Conley pulled a Ben Simmons, you drive all the way to the lane and then stop and instead of finishing the play you look for the pass in traffic when you less than 3 feet from the basket.🤦🏾‍♂️ It's a lessons learned moment but it's gonna be a tough one.

@@ReGGiEbayer95 I disagree. As a shooter, you know that the chances of your shot going in increases if you have more time to focus on the basket which he had.. Every shooter in the NBA doesnt have a fixed speed when shooting. If they know there's time left or theres nobody around to block his shot, they INTENTIONALLY slow down their shooting to get sufficient amount of time to focus on the basket in order to get a high percentage shot.

I'm saying anyone that was at that position should've gone get a rebound. it doesn't matter whether he's the best player of the team.
      >> It was a wide open shot if anything it should've been Bogdanovic's fault and his alone
Donovan would never say that. It's easy for (casual) fans to describe that shot as "a wide open (easy) shot", but it's not surprising at all if you miss a three in a NBA playoff game such that if you miss it your team will be eliminated. After all this was a two point game and so they should've made at least one shot from the field they missed.

To me the ceiling of the jazz is Rudy, they keep trying to maximize their offense by "skipping" him and rely on the other four guys. I'm ok with it but you have a 7 footer who could be dominant if trusted, he'll make mistake for sure but entrusting him in the regular season would pay off in the play off. To me the jazz need Rudy to dominate for them to go all the way. Make him do he's mistakes early : in preaseson and regular season because if he is compose and confident in the play off, then you have an anchor on defense and offense. He doesn't have to shoot threes : he could keep the ball on the high or low post and wait for the cutter or the double. Rudy could be a menace around that painted area. The jazz NEED to develop him, he's not that injury prone and he is determine, they already took too much time for me but they can still turn it around. A simple exemple ? on the travel by Conley...Rudy is running to the rim ! throw him a lob or shoot the ball !

Everybody does mistakes. It just more painful in such a money time, but it was clear all the way that the Mavs would win this series no matter what. Honestly, this Jazz team simply has too low of a ceiling. They really are not bad, have great guys on the floor that made me want to cheer for them, but the issue lies within the organization, the collective. First of all the contending teams in the West are all ones with amazing back courts (Suns, Warriors, Mavs) and the Jazz has shown they cannot defend against those. Furthermore, our French national Rudy is a great defender but a max player that cannot score if he's more than 1,5m from the basket, Donovan another max player hasn't proved himself to be a franchise player on a title contending team, and the rest of the cast is not bad, but just not quite there to win it all. They don't have a clinical three point shooter, they don't have a great power forward, etc. etc... I wish them well, but some adjustments would have to be made, knowing that no one really wants to go and play in Utah, so they are highly dependent on their draft picks and they have to overpay star players not to loose them to bigger markets (Mitchell, Gobert) therefore the potential of this franchise will always remain limited.
