USS Ling

I remember visiting this submarine as a child as part of a summer camp day tour.
The USS Ling is a Balo Class submarine, built in 1942 she just missed WW2 and was repurposed as a training ship in 1960 and then into a museum ship in 1971 until 2007 when the North Jersey Media Group announced a redevelopment plan. Since then the Ling has been adrift just off the shore waiting for its fate to be decided.

Unfortunately she isn't in that great of shape and sadly isn't floating. She is sitting on the river bed stuck in place 😢
