Judging and results - please be kind to me, I didn´t sleep 2 nights in a row to finish this video. With all the entries and little details it took me a lot of hours to finish this. So if you messed up a tiny bit - please be kind to me. :)

🖤 For CIDC2023 Shorts - highsize and less then 60s
🖤You can enter both categories
🖤 Edited + unedited videos (but you have to put the original music under the audio track of your video, because otherwise the sound quality will be to low)
🖤 Single dancers + groups allowed
🖤 Upload your entry public to youtube
🖤 1 entry per person/youtube channel - pre categorie (CIDC2023 and CIDC2023 shorts)
🖤 If you enter as a group you can enter one time as a single person as well
🖤 Use #CIDC2023 in the title
🖤 Hold a sign with "Ciwana's Industrial Dance Contest 2023" in at the beginning of the video or have it otherwise written in the video - so that people can find the contest even when the video was uploaded to another plattform (vimeo...)
🖤 NO: no original video sound, no bad lightening. This leads to your video being excluded from the contest. (As long as the deadline is not over jet, you can submit another one, only the last one will be judged).
🖤 Link this video(s) in your video description

My opinion on the format and addition of short video format as you asked.
One caveat is that if you are entering in both long and short, that you don't just repackage work done on the long format and basically enter it twice. It should be its own work.
With that said..
I absolutely love it!
For those that are amazing dancers but don't have the time, skill, or software to really make long format videos, this is great.
I feel that the prize money difference is spot on as these are easier to make.
What I feel that this brings back is that feeling of peoole just dancing, like it was when Das Klub was around and just starting.
It really removes an entry barrier for those that are just starting out.
It also increases the reach of the dance videos to other platforms like tiktok which is a very needed thing.
So 💯 it's fabulous and by next year, I bet that people up their game here too.

I also wonder if it would be fair to say.. if you are a winner in the long format videos but also have an entry in the short format, that you cannot also be a winner in the short format.... just a thought.
It's an idea, however I don't want the two categories to "cannibalise" each other. Meaning people to opt out from a category in sake for the other. I will have to give it a proper thought.

English is so analytic nowadays. Cud likely say all the aforesaid with just two or three words in it English it’s older synthetic past.
Some great talent out there amazing that there are so many great videos and contestants. Your English is really good and i love the German accent, just wanted to point out one small thing, prices should be spelled prizes as prices are how much things cost and prizes are what people win so your score for English is 9/10. English is a complicated language and i find it amusing how different people from different countries pronounce words. The 3 judges also look amazing in these videos, love your outfits, makeup and hair. The contestants put a lot of effort into these videos which everyone appreciates.

Viele viele tolle Videos , toll getanzt und schön bearbeitet ! Da steckt viel Liebe und Arbeit drin, Respekt an jeden der mitgemacht hat.
Ihr braucht allerdings meiner Meinung nach Unter-Kategorien. Jemand mit einem One Shot video ohne Bearbeitung kann unmöglich gegen ein Gruppen Video mit Schnitt , Bearbeitung und Choreografie Tanz gewinnen. Da ist keine faire Chance. Und ich finde wenn es um einen Wettbewerb geht braucht es faire Bedingungen. Gruppe gegen Gruppe . Eins gegen eins , bearbeitet gegen bearbeitet. Nur so bleibt es fair und es entsteht Chancen Gleichheit ! Nicht jeder hat das Equipment oder das wissen Videos zu bearbeiten und die sind auf das angewiesen was sie haben.
Da geb ich dir grundsätzlich recht, aber - bisher war aus meiner Sicht die Gesamtanzahl der Videos nicht ausreichend für viele Kategorien gegeben. In ersten Jahr hatte ich nur ca 20 Einreichungen (dann stetig mehr) das aufzuteilen- da wären halt teilweise zu wenig Videos je Kategorie gewesen. Dieses Jahr waren es mit den Shorts um die 60. Da wäre für nächstes Jahr z.b. Editiert/Oneshoot und Shorts zu denken. Aber für Gruppen bräuchten wir glaube ich erstmal wieder mehr Crews. 😊😁 wenn natürlich die ganze Community mitmacht und wir um die 100 Videos nächstes Jahr bekommen könnten- wären auch 4 Kategorien machbar. 😁
