its pretty hard to get by pushed it to run, i have pretty much tuned up vtr too, it just has insane pressure. doesnt like cold air neither, like none 2cyls, can get powers out just in traffic lights, or sometimes on when breaking with motor. not a fault, just v2 properties :)
Yeah, even my 2005 model, only done 8000km already on its 2nd battery. Takes so much to start it in the winter, that the battery is only 60% charged after the first ride to work.
That looks a great place for bikers, popular too it seems. All the bikes on show, including owners bikes, all seemed quite upmarket types, I like that. Some of the bike shops I've seen iIn England over the years, seem to attract the wrong sorts of biker, yet not so in this video. V. Nice
@Bevoin1970 I know what you mean , this shop is not in a big city like The Hague or Amsterdam so the crowd is more relaxed ( I didn't say drunk nor stoned ) , every biker in this area is mad about the twisty country-roads around this village and this is best shop to have your bike repaired if you ,,dropped'' it !
sur la SP1 la batterie doit absolument être en forme pour lancer le gros bi-cylindre!! Ca m'a déjà joué des tours avec la mienne et démarrer à la poussette demande une grosse motivation!!
I had to bump start my CBR600 several times, I always bumped it in second. I didn't have anyone to help me push either hehe, had to run next to the bike then jump on... It was exhausting.
Yeah your right Paul but then some of us have an attention span. not only that, if the killswitch was not right it wouldn't have turned over on the starter. but hey I'm not an expert ;)
must be a VTR problem. my VTR had exactly same issue if we had a cold night. I guessed it was just that it needed so much power to spin that V twin lump
+gizzy nc I don`t understand, ive heard the same from other owners but mine never hesitates drags or anything when i start it. Even in the dead of winter when its out in the carport surrounded by 2 feet of snow it just pops right on soon as i hit the button. My battery is prolly close to 5 years old now too. Guess im just lucky.
Hooch i guess so, however now i'm a little more knowledgeable about bikes now. there was 2 things that contributed to this issue, 1 i have no idea how old the battery was it may of been damaged, 2 my stator was bad. she was also never garaged in a particularly bitter winter, some morning were as bad as -18c.
My vtr does that in cold weather, need a juicy battery for these tractors, I buy one every year.

Quite correct, managed to bump start mine when I sold it 3 weeks ago, so it can be done, although a lot harder than smaller cc bikes ;)
The photographer who did it well

@instruct2008 It was me pushing so now I know thats useless , the batterypack was much more easy !!
You didn't shout "Crank Er Up"
You put the 2CV cold start kiss of death on that Bike...haha!!! :)
Thank U.
Indeed a weak battery , flippin your killswitch will help too.....
@88GTi Look at the sad face of the guy , no start for his beloved motorcycle , so would he have understood my shout ,,Cr...... P'' ?
@adam paulley The killswitch was set to run mate. If you dont believe me - check out the second part, where it starts in the same position its in now.
Yeah your right Paul but then some of us have an attention span. not only that, if the killswitch was not right it wouldn't have turned over on the starter. but hey I'm not an expert ;)
Tip Over Bank Angle Sensor!!!
If the battery is weak which it is the 1st thing to do when trying to start it is turn the lights off🤦🏻♂️ everyone who owns a bike should know that😉
What if the lights are always on with no off switch?
@Maysie Mays no chance of that. there is always a switch to turn lights off. ask anyone🙂
I know i'm quite late to this video... but this was actually my dad! It took me quite some time to find this back tho haha

Does anyone know what the tail tidy/number plate holder was he had fitted and the rear indicators? I'm trying to find one similar.
battery fail; un classique chez honda, le régulateur est sous dimensionné;

@@florentdivers7655 merci pour cette précision (j;suis le meme, vrai nom et non pseudo)
A good brand battery , not a cheap Chinese one will solve this problem
A new , good brand battery solved this guy's problem.
2 people, 15kmh, stand on footpeg, disengage the clutch and at once jump on the seat

Put it in neutral to start!!!
Haha alsof je een 1000cc twin ooit aangeduwd krijgt....pannekoeken :D
its either faulty batt, faulty voltage reg, loose batt terminal

Im not certain but i think these have automatic chokes.
You cannot bump start these twins, but I bump started a vFR 750 v4 - easy.
Ever heard of a battery optimiser?
