Povich: I kind of expected him to struggle in his debut because he was struggling at AAA prior. I still question his walks and will continue to do so until he changes my mind.
I really appreciate the recent deep dive into the AA Southern League hitting environment being historically weak, with a .310 average SLG. Really puts Quero's numbers into a better light.
The pitcher with injury concerns reminds me of Anthony Rendon. He had 2 or 3 moderately bad injuries in the minors, then he had those great years for the Nats before returning to consistent injuries again.
As a Dodgers fan I love how Preller trades most of his prospect. Wood, Iriarte, and Thorpe are all MLB or near MLB ready talents who could have made a big impact this year. The Padres farm system is super top heavy and Lesko being a top 5 prospect for them falling makes it worse.
@@erikbouchard6539 While he does know how to draft and scout internationally he is hemorrhaging prospects at way too high of a rate. 2 of the their top 4 prospects are 18/17. Snelling and Lesko are struggling. Mazur was just called up so we will see how he will do but the Padres talent pool is super thin after that and will only get thinner after Preller trades more prospects at the deadline.
@@SuperReviews4you maybe... Maybe not. Hard to know man... Of all the prospects Preller has traded away in the last few years, the only ones that actually hurt to this point are Abrams and Gore. But we knew they'd hurt. The Soto trade was fine at the time, but Seidlers death screwed the team.
Montes seems to hit his home runs in bunches. Just hit two more yesterday. I noticed if his K rates start increasing he will start hitting less home runs. He's starting to go on another rampage .414AVG 4HR 16RBI over last 10 games. My guess is he will be promoted to high A similar to the timeline they did with Cole Young last year.
Xavier Isaac: If he struggles against lefties that is a big issue with me regarding fantasy, because if they are platooning at the major league level, that isn't good for fantasy. Can he improve? Of course, but I also thought Will Benson would improve but he is still sitting a lot against lefties and is hitting .095 against them. That caps their value IMO.
Jack looking like a bond villain with that turtleneck
It was 103 real feel where I live today, cant wear that here 😂
Appreciate the high energy you bring to your videos

Sort of... He just restocks it again perpetually though.

@@SuperReviews4youdon’t forget about salas. He’s batting .196/305.291 😬
@@SkolProductions he's 18 in high A.. struggles are expected for a guy like that. All about how he finishes the year.

What does Quinn Mathews have to do, to crack end of season? 6'5, durable, lefty.. now throws 94-97. Hes easily the2nd best arm in stl system
Idk if I missed the answer but how far are Triantos and ballesteros from the top 100?
They hate them
Is this dude Jack wearing a turtleneck in June? 🤔

On Chandler: quite possible it hurts to throw the changeup right now.

Lowder starting to turn it up in AA
