The defender should have been paying attention when the goal kick was taken.
The kicker was the goalkeeper, so it is a direct free kick. However, you're right about the red card, the second kick was a serious offense, since she denied a goal opportunity.

Probably the 'keeper actually intended to just reposition the ball before taking the kick, but the ref presumably decided that she had taken the kick with the first touch.
The first time the keeper touches it, it isnt even on the 10 yard box.
Looks more like positioning it than an actual first kick.

You know what they do if you score a goal while falling down? They give your team a point.
It doesn't matter how the goal was achieved, even if it was an accident, they still give you a point. Unless you kick the ball into your own goal by accident. Then they give the other team a point.

A while back I was on an amputee soccer team.
Amputee soccer has mostly the same rules, except lower limb amputees play the field and upper limb amputees play goal keeper.
The only player on out team who was allowed to touch the ball with his hands didn't have any. Nor arms.
I watch both men and women, I find way more ass shots when pulling up socks or on the ground in the major men leagues and fast camera shots in the women's game. They look for the man changing his shirt to get a close-ups every damn game. It is part of the broadcast script now.
