- WALKING IN FLORENCE, ITALY: This six mile (9.65km) walk of central Florence was filmed on July 3rd, 2019 starting at 12:30pm at the Santa Maria Novella Train Station. During this walk you will go inside the Baptistery of St. John, inside the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, and climb up the steps of Giotto's Bell Tower. Hear the ambient sounds of Florence life in 3D audio when you listen with your headphones on. 🎧 Andiamo. Let's go for a walk!

Hey Tony, I'm glad you could join me on the walk. By the end of the day I am pretty dang tired. :)..especially walking around Florence. The last part was up hill to that look out. I took a taxi back to my hotel. I couldn't walk any more. :)

Hi Lynn, well...I'm a high school teacher and coach so I just have to film when I can. I had gone to Florence in May the year before to film and it was so crowded and there was so much construction, I just turned around and went home. Anyway, this was just my next opportunity to go. I coach a Spring sport.

Glad you enjoyed it. Yeah, it can be difficult to make all those things happen during a short visit. I was just there to walk, walk, walk. :) In and out. Most people take their time to look at each site for a while. I do too...just not on this visit. :)

When i took my last vacation to Italy we stopped in a hotel in Arezzo another beautiful city in Tuscany.We only got to spend one day in Florence during our vacation Which was a pity because it is such a beautiful city and i would have loved to have stopped there for at least 3 days.We were on a guided tour during our stay in Italy we spent 5 days in Tuscany and visited Sienna and Florence .Then we travelled down to Rome and spent 3 days in Rome before flying back to the UK.This year with the coronavirus outbreak and the uncertainty of travelling anywhere in the world i've opted for staying at home.But one day in the future i will certainly be returning to Florence ,also i would love to go back to Sorrento and the beautiful Amalfi coast.

Over 30 yrs ago, walked the streets of Florence & saw it from the overlook with my Dad. It was beautiful then, but looks to have spruced up a bit more for the tourists. Thanks for shooting this. It refreshes my memories.

It was nice to relive the very familiar sights we enjoyed during our visits in 2007 and 2008. I see the same apartment we rented both times which faced the Duomo and the Baptistery. Italy is a beautiful country and Florence is a treasure. Thank you for your beautiful footage which will give me the chance to re-visit, if only virtually. I will always treasure the wonderful memories of that lovely city.
