East Lancashire Railway (ELR) Diesel Gala Saturday 10/2/24

As always, a good show by the ELR. Engine featured are 45108, 47765, 50015, D5054, 37109, 33109 and 44109. 40012 was also running but it managed to evade me.
My day started on the bridge south of Bury station where I met ‪@Lmsvideo112‬ (who I am subscribed to) then moved to Heywood, Summerseat, Ramsbottom, Irwell Vale, and Townsend Fold. Enjoyed the day with the excellent company of @RailsUpNorth

Yeah I can just about remember these beasts ploughing their trade along the WCML at Preston with expresses to London. Near the end of their express lives they were double headed to maintain the timetable.

Amazing, the only thing that could be better was if you added chapters like I do in my videos. Check out my descriptions if you want to see how to do them. Other than that, amazing footage. 😸
