  • Barcelona video :))) what we did if anyone is interested:
    Getting around:
For the first few days we had been getting the single ride pass you can buy in the subway stations for 2.40 euros but they have a ten ride pass too for 10-11 euros which was a better deal because we used it a lot. They have very frequent subways and busses, but the city is also very walkable.
    Food:
There are very convenient little supermarkets on almost every block but no big stores like Walmart or Metro etc. For paella and Max’s burger we went to Paella Restaurante Bar on Carrer de Virardell. If you want very cheap paella go here. I really liked the food and it was a very reasonable portion for 10 euros. Max said it was the best burger he ever had.
    Day 1:
First we took the subway to Casa Mila and from there walked to Sagrada Familia. Our tickets to the Nativity tower were at 9:15 so there weren’t many people which was good. The views were really pretty and you got to see more of the top of the tower which was very nice. But that little bridge in the video was it. I felt like they could’ve opened up a bit more because there were some more lookouts and balconies on the way down but oh well. Stay longer at the top if you can. You take an elevator up and then you have to walk 400 steps down these spiral stairs. I really enjoyed the inside of the church. Max and I sat there for a while. Don’t forget to go underground because they have a museum of how it was built. We then walked to see the Sant Pau Hospital. From there we walked to Park Guell. This park was very big and there was something to see every few hundred meters. We came here during the hottest part of the day with no food so definitely don’t do that. You could spend a whole day here if you wanted to. There is lots of uphill walking though. For our last stop, we went to Casa Vicens, Gaudi’s first house in Barcelona. After resting we went to the top of Mont Juic near Placa d’Espanya in the evening.
    Day 2:
First we took the subway to Arc de Triomf. We thought we could fit in Parc Ciutadella before going to the museum but it was too big and there was a lot to see too. It wasn’t like park guell and you didn’t have to pay or anything to get in, it was just a nice park with lots of nature. We went back later in the day. After a quick walk we went to moco museum. It was smaller than I thought it would be so take your time there. The exhibits were really cool though. Then we walked to la Rambla and went down it. After that it was too hot to be outside again so we went home for a bit. When we finished our siesta we went back to the park. I would recommend bringing sunflowers seeds or something like that to get the monk parakeets to come to you. We rented a boat for 6 euros for 30 minutes to go around this super cute pond. I would highly recommend doing this. After that we sat in the park near the fountain for a bit and from there we took the subway to Casa Batllo. From there we walked to this place called Dow Jones on Carrer del Bruc. This bar sold its drinks like stocks, the more or less people ordered certain drinks influenced the price of them. Every hour they would have a market crash where all the prices would reset to their lowest prices. I loved this concept and would highly recommend going here too.
    Day 3:
Beach day at Barceloneta beach. Crowded but you could still find spots. We spent the afternoon there and went back again in the evening. Also stopped at the casino for Max.
    Thanks for watching :)
