How to travel: If traveling by train take karjat train get down at Neral station.
you can go by toy train which will take 2 hrs to reach Mathera and you can enjoy the view.
or you can take share cab which will take 100 rs per person and drop you at Dasturi car parking
From there take entry ticket.
After 5 mins walk you can take toy train from Aman lodge to Matheran. Ticket Rs. 50 per person single journey.
or from Dasturi car parking can take horse which will cost Rs. 350 and there is option of handpull rickshaw which cost Rs. 500 approx or electric rickshaw Rs. 35
