“UK Creaking At Edges From Unbridled Immigration” | Mike Graham x Ben Habib

  • Talk’s Mike Graham is joined by deputy leader of Reform UK Ben Habib to discuss a new report by Robert Jenrick to curb migration.
The Tory former immigration minister has put forward more than 30 recommendations to the Government in a Centre for Policy Studies (CPS) report he co-authored.
The proposals include capping health and care visas at 30,000, scrapping the graduate route for international students, and indexing salary thresholds for visa routes in line with inflation.
Mr Habib says the recommendations are “bleedingly obvious” and says there should be “no migration unless the UK absolutely needs it”.

Agreed, I live in France and these 'asylum seekers' don't get hotels or health care here. For the latter one needs to be properly in the system and then you get a carte vitale which is your access card to the health care system. You have to show it at every touch point in the system including to the GP for an appointment. Britain is far too soft and cushy that's why these people come over and cannot wait to get out of France etc. If they didn't get accommodation, NHS, money, a soft life they simply wouldn't come and the hard way to deliver this is to turn them back in the channel or stop them even getting into Europe. The EU needs to wake up.

@@borjastick💯🎯 it's unacceptable that we are forced to house the third world & expected to tolerate it. it's a sick, disgusting, parasitical betrayal of centuries of British people who built this nation and fought for it. @user-nf4zh2vj5e The majority of those immigrants coming from Britain are not British, and it is not for us to take them back. They have arrived here via France, often assisted by the French navy, and before that Europe as a whole. A consequence of free movement, (the great EU initiative), and the generous invitation from Merkel to the world to come on in. Lastly, the Irish government, in league with their EU masters, insisted on an open border between the Republic and NI. Well, you got it, now deal with the result.

    I bought a bird feeder.
I hung it on my back garden and filled it with seed.
What a beauty of a bird feeder it is as I filled it lovingly with seed.
Within a week we had hundreds of birds taking advantage of the continuous flow of free and easily accessible food.
But then the birds started building nests in the boards of the patio, above the table, and next to the barbecue.
Then came the poop. It was everywhere: on the patio, the chairs, the table...everywhere!
Then some of the birds turned mean.
They would dive bomb me and try to peck me even though I had fed them out of my own pocket. And other birds were boisterous and loud.
They sat on the feeder and squawked and screamed at all hours of the day and night and demanded that I fill it when it got low on food. After a while, I couldn't even sit in my own back garden any more.
So I took down the bird feeder and in three days the birds were gone. I cleaned up their mess and took down the many nests they had built all over the patio.
Soon, the back garden was like it used to be ..... Quiet, serene and no one demanding their rights to a free meal.

I happen to speak to many of these ‘care workers’ as part of my job
There is a huge scandal brewing as many of the care homes don’t actually exist and the scam is being exploited by criminals who create a fake care home and a Visa is issued. No checks carried out
I am regularly seeing people with 5 or 6 children in tow and in one memorable occasion she had 9 children, none of whom could speak English
The housing is a huge problem. The actual real care homes will offer short term accommodation for 3 months. After that the migrant is expected to find their own accommodation. So a woman on minimum wage with 9 kids and a husband who can’t speak English pitch up at the council asking for a home🤷🏻‍♂️
It is a scandal. It really is. And having not contributed one single penny they automatically use healthcare, education, housing, social services and pay virtually no tax on low wages

Let’s balance the conversation a touch, farming jobs in UK that harvest our food grown in UK is near enough 100% reliant on migrant workers. UK workers will not work on these farms despite them being well paid, and the ability to save is huge as one works all the time (within reason). UK students which worked on farms when I was younger and I was paid £400-£500 a week and that was 25 years ago, do not want to work on farms. So controlled migration is CRITICAl, however uncontrolled migrants have to be returned- these are liabilities, uncontrolled and too many end up harming UK citizens- there should be zero tolerance on illegal migration and these boats have to be stopped.

If mass immigration and multiculturalism were a benefit we’d have the highest GDP, standard of living and quality of life in the world. We don’t. The British public have known this for DECADES but the only people who benefit (increased government spending, property investors, bureaucrats) make their money while WE pay in every way imaginable.

Here's some money we could save and put towards border control: David Cameron commits £3bn a year in aid to Ukraine ‘for as long as necessary’

Is that from his offshore account in Panama city?
Oh silly me, of course it isn't. It's just taxpayers money, so it's easy to give it away.

Cameron, Blair , kunta kinta , stinky sunak, sweaty starmy, and all civil servants(😂) all need to be deported to front line in Ukraine. Take the musty phlebs and assorted light lingered leeches with them.

Of course the problem is creaking. Three years ago i said human nature and out of date national and international laws will be the cause of large scale civil unrest. That unrest has started in a small way within the E.U. [now including Ireland] but as there are MILLIONS waiting to enter the E.U. Some will be genuine such as those from Honk Kong and Afghanistan but they are in the minority as can be seen most are illegally seeking a better life than the so called democratic nations in Africa where the rulers are corrupt and the law enforced by violent policing. The rulers are corrupt in every country but some conceal their corruption better than others. Logic alone should tell you civil unrest is as sure as night follows day....do our politicians seek civil unrest in order to install draconian laws?
