Layne use to sing when Scott Porter was the beatboxer. Then when Scott left Layne took his place. Layne is responsible for this arrangement and all the funny stuff. Geoff being the Disney Princess flipping his hair. Eli with no hair and Cesar being chubby and not getting the man of his dreams. Absolutely love their sense of humor.

I think a lot of people miss the "really bitch?" look Ashley gives Geoff when she breaks up Isabella's part too. When she starts all of them kind of look at her and then when Geoff interrupts they all look at him, except Ashley looks pissed haha.

According to Geoff, Layne has the ‘voice of an angel.’ Although we appreciate his vocal percussion, it’s always a special treat to hear him sing. The songs that come to mind for him singing are True Colors and Heart of Life. He arranged True Colors with no percussion because he felt that people should really be paying attention to the words. And he sang beautifully on Heart of Life, but most people were too busy missing Earl to notice. You might want to react to - or revisit with your new wife - those two videos.
And congratulations on the marriage. I had 45 wonderful years with my husband and I wish you both even more!
He also has a singing line in Bridge Over Troubled Water and raps in the Moana Medley
Layne is doing more and more singing lately in their productions. You hear him sing in The Greatest Showman as well. He has a great voice but I guess it's a coin flip between great singer and amazing beat boxer, you can't have both. I would like them to do a slow one with no beat featuring Layne as the lead singer, doing most of the singing like they did with Geoff in the Oogie Boogie's Song. I feel he could do a great cover of 'I Can't Help Falling In Love with You' for example, with only harmonic backing from the others. He has the perfect voice for that sort of song.
I love Layne’s percussion, love his quirky sense of humor, and love that he does stuff like this to Geoff. LOL. Great reaction, and congrats again, guys! Blissful honeymoon and happy married life.
I love that both Cesar and Ashley are native Spanish speakers so the inflections and mannerisms are right.
Emily's face when you did the beatboxing 😆 It would be fun to see her react to The Dragonborn Comes, if she'd consider it.
Layne's humor is the BEST. Always unexpected yet tending towards broad gestures... like his "surprise" at Princess Geoff, after Layne arranged, made the decisions about this bit and then chose the costume! Then he puts the icing on the joke with his side-eye. He's just so funny. And yes, I love it when Layne decides to take a singing role.
I really LOVE Ashley Diane singing with Voice Play! She fits with them so well! And she's hard to track down online otherwise! I love Rachel and Emoni, etc, but as far as I'm concerned, Ashley could become their 5th permanent member & I'd not be upset at all! 🤗 💞

I don't know what you guys are using for speakers, but I would love to see you both get even a decent set of headphones to do reactions with. One thing no one has mentioned is how, when Cesar is singing "I'm sorry Mi Vida, go on!" Jeff rolls his eyes, almost in exasperation. Then, when Jeff is wearing the same outfit as Ashely and is singing Isabella's part, almost everyone else in the group is looking at him, then looking away, like "Oh my gosh!"
You paused on the perfect spot on Geoff waving in the petals. His expression looks like he is really enjoying it! Your wife looked like it broke her when it ended. She froze in place and didn't move again until you had the ending playing the 2nd time...😆

It's easy to miss a lot of little stuff they do, like the "umbrella ella ella eh" in the bv's when Cesar gets the umbrella, which is a slightly illegal reference from a copyright standpoint but no one noticed. My main mans is cosplaying Camillo or whatever the shapeshifter character was called, so that's why he looks like Bruno in one frame but turns into Isabella in another one. BTW the side-eye glances everyone gave him were hilarious. Geoff is the best Disney princess, fight me

Actually at least Brad has already heard Ashley Diane about 7 month ago - in If I Were A Rich Man/Girl with that crazy run ended with "What?" as if it was nothing.
First, congratulations on your marriage! But, I do want to point out that Geoff was playing the part of Camilo, as the shape shifter, he shape shifts into Isabella to sing her part.
From their auction, I did have the winning bid for Geoff's shirt and throw over. All of the money went to Saving the Music. It makes me feel good to contribute to such a great cause as well as to receive a part of something worn by a member of Voice Play (bass has always been my favorite part of any song). Yes, Geoff is my favorite bass singer of all time, so his shirt and throw was a huge plus!
I believe at the end Layne says " don't talk about him no more ". Lane sings in " If I Were a Rich Man / Girl " from Fiddler on the Roof. Check it out.
Geoff was not playing the Bruno part, he was playing the Camilo part (The Shape Shifter Character)
Geoff isn't supposed to be Bruno, he's playing CAMILO who has the lines about the "seven foot frame" etc... Camilo is the shapeshifter, hence the transformation into Isabela and then back to Bruno after the Isabela.

The '7 foot frame, rats along his back' is not Bruno singing about himself (he hasn't made an appearance yet in the film), it's actually Camilo shapeshifting into Bruno as he sings about him. Which then makes Geoff in Ashley's blouse and shorts, singing as Isabela, make more sense. I mean, if he's Camilo singing about/as Bruno, why not Isabela also? (If Isabela could sing bass....) 😎
