As a Home Fry, I'm primarily here for Home Free reactions but love to listen to what ever you have to share. I know a little about tech, but stuff changes so quickly in the tech world, so I am in the same boat as you on that score. I know what you mean about watching others reacting to the music and having the same reactions as you did. That is what hooked me on to watching reactors. Once I was hooked on Home Free, I loved watching others share that excitement and often times amazement at what they do. That shared joy is what makes this "neighborhood." Every temporary blocked one you have always seems to be SME (Sony). I wonder if the ad share maybe depends on where the band/management company are from? Just keep doing what you're doing in your own way and how you want to do it. It works just fine. But don't feel that you can't take a break if you're not feeling great or that you have to do extra when you're better, you don't and nobody should expect you to. Loved the 15 minute vocal solo, I could definitely listen to this band again. 😁

Come on... 😉😍😘 I really like how you are talking about giving artists second chances and also the influence of other people on your taste of music. Same with me. A few years ago, if there was screaming or harsh vocals in music, I was like: "Nah, not for me". But through exposure and explanation I began to understand and in the follow up, even like it if harsh vocals are used. But trust is important. I have to trust the persons who are recommending... or at least respect their expertise. Then I can go and find out what these people like and why they like it. Of course, there will always be stuff I won't like at all, but that is Okay, we are different, so that is only natural. Anyhow, the most important thing for a reactor is to be genuine, and you are a perfect and beautiful example for that. So keep on doing just you. And a new computer? Wowza. Fun fact: My dog (passed ~10 years ago now) was named Willie after Willie Nelson. Love him! I like loading up all my music and hitting random play, so it's funny when it jumps from Metallica to Willile Nelson to Marylyn Manson, etc. lol

Quinn 17 guitar/vocals taught herself Queen Of The Murder Scene to learn Dany's parts at 11 yo, Jonah 16 drums and Aria 15 bass/vocals . TWA has been encouraging them and they started a kickstarter and now a patreon GLITCH is their debut single but One Left Standing made me a lifetime fan. you can be a part of their story like other reactors
Cool that you tried Band-Maid - if it was "hate?" give "Endless Story" from the same concert a go (you'll see their appreciation for their fans). I never really got into music until my early 20s, before then I just seemed to get bored with everything after a while and I didn't know why. It wasn't until I saw EVH playing Eruption that I felt I could understand what was happening and I could then separate out the different instruments. I had to see it to understand. I'm still somewhat the same, new songs sometimes takes a wee while for me to appreciate but after being an avid listener to Rush for decades I finally understood that that it was generally an uninteresting drum/bass/rhythm section that bored me previously. Virtuosos are impressive but not enough by themselves to keep my attention. Band-Maid and Rush are the 2 bands I can just put their entire discography on shuffle and listen to for hours (generally driving) and never be bored.
Was the German band Rammstein??? If blocked once...try another month or so with them... One reactor nearly had commented on nearly their entire catalog of music... There are two or three I'd recommend to stay away from...but rather go with a live recording... Red...if you have a sore throat...catnip tea did the trick for me every time...but it has two unwanted side effects... Cats rubbing against me and I have to stay away from gorgeous redheads for a couple of hours... Try Lindemann covering "Always on my mind"... This one blew ME away being so used to Willie Nelson singing it... The funny thing was that I started out in the operatic/classical field and got burned out a bit and branched out to German bands as well as country... Nobody could fit me in one role above another because of my range...middle-low bass to the E an octave over high C... I build my own computers and this last one is frustrating me to no end... If I don't get it to work right this time...I'm calling in a friend to find out where I went wrong... I think it's more from recovering from a sprained finger ligament than anything... Maybe me skipping a platform (AM2 to AM4)...is causing it as well...because I'm skipping over AM5 as well... I have a headset nearly ready and a backup mic that was highly recommended... I'm on a 12" tablet until I get running...
The thing is with Rush, I don't think they are universally loved. A lot of people have never heard of them....I was one of them until 2005. Personally there are "artists" who have made hundreds of millions, have a sales history 10x that of Rush who are frankly awful. It bugs me personally. Watching you fall for Rush and see how amazing they are has been great. My gf hadn't really listened to them either until she met me, and now she's a fully paid up member of the Rush Army. 🤩
I’m learning how to open my mind to different genres. I’ve been listening to some heavy metal; some I like, some I don’t. But I listen and try to get something out of it. There’s two reactors I like who go more into technical and theory comments. I love all that too, but you go by your feelings, and I like that! I hope you’re getting a good night’s sleep. The unwritten rules of pausing. #1 Don't pause during solos! #2 See rule #1! lol I appreciate when reactors can find the 'right' time to pause.. like just before the transitions to/from the chorus or bridge or something. I know pauses are necessary, but when I hear the music, I'm also vibing to it as well, so the abrupt or random pauses can be annoying. I don't think I've run into any of that here.. nothing stands out at least.

Intel is too power hungry for my taste and every expert I worked with would rather junk Intel than fix them... It was after I saw the long list of problems they had...I stuck with AMD... If you have to go off Windows...try Linux Mint...which I have used since 2001...if I'm not running an Android tablet...that is...
