First time I see Jansen playing with duo of Argerich / Maisky, and it makes a lot of sense. I think both Maisky and Jansen share an extroverted, passionate, almost swooning style of phrasing.

@@staffanolofsson8201 and from this 90 year old lady in Miami FL USA I saw Martha and Misha live at Carnegie Hall many years ago and she played here in Miami often, where I got to meet her and express my admiration. she is truly a living legend and the goddess of music.

Agitato! This is !, This opus is often played sentimentally and lacks tension. Here, the power of this piece that mendelssohn intended is expressed in its best form. All I can say is that it's amazing. The scherzo caused a roar in the venue, which is understandable, since you wouldn't have expected it to be a opus like this...

全編これ、agitato！この曲感傷的に弾かれて緊張に欠ける演奏が多い。ここでは、メンデルスゾーンが意図していたこの曲の迫力が、最上の形ででている。さすがとしか言いようがない。スケルツォでは会場にどよめきが走るが、そりゃそうだろう、こんな曲だなんて予想もしてないはずだから、、、

Can some one explain why only piano score’s pages are turned? It can’t be that violin’s and chello’s fit on one page
In most cases, the sheet music for string instruments can be printed in such a way - e.g. when there is a pause for the instrument when changing pages - that the musicians can always turn the pages themselves, e.g. in string quartets. Often a hand-copied page or something similar also helps the musicians. Best regards :)
another reason is that piano music takes usually at least 2x more space on paper than cello/violin for the same time duration

Misha had had many misses in his long life performances. This particular one is not his best. For some reason I hear many “wooden” sounds, as one of his strings is loose. This trio has been played by the olympians, and is very popular. Martha is superb, as always, Jeanine is very impressive young violinist. Well done ladies!
