Yup I had one of those windy days. I had one group of fish on the main lake windiest Banks ! 42 mph dragging a lizard ! Waves coming over the bow ! I’m 6’5 and was a sail blowing me around like a rag doll ! It’s hard catching fish on a Carolina Rig in that mess but I did ! Wet feet and cold My co angler called me a fool for staying in it. 😂. He couldn’t catch ‘em while I hammered the ! You know it’s bad when your bilge keeps coming on from the waves coming over the bow ! I’d do it again catching pigs like I caught ! 5 fish 37 lbs and blew the field away while the wind blew me around the boat ! Where some weights in your shoes tomorrow buddy ! Go win it !! Trent will love his dad just like you live him ! Keep bringing it bro ! Got da mighty !

When it blows like that, if you're up in the bend around where the Wolf comes in, it can get as rough as you'll ever see anywhere. And when all the pleasure boaters and wake boats are out in the summer, it's that wavy without the wind. But the fish love it and those points and banks getting pounded by the waves can get loaded super shallow.

I like watching ffs fishing just fine. You can’t catch them on frogs in 2ft of water but about 2-3 months out of the year. The other 9 months ……….at least they’re not just blind casting and they’re catching fish. Now, ffs fish are far better the watching them cast.
Love watching fishing shows when i can’t be out there but you guys are too dependent on electronics. I don’t think they should let you guys use them in comps. 🤷
