@@wilsonluilui It seems to be, yes. They favored the REL over the backlight for a dedicated button. I'd have preferred if it was the other way around. At 07:01 the mag strap, I wonder if it would fit my new UT15B Max. How was the stand of the 117C? I am satisfied with my 15B Max other than its back stand that's rather loose. Nice comparison with the Fluke 117 by the way.

Is this selector switch able to withstand higher usage? Do you have to lubricate this selector switch over time? I'm afraid that later it will start to make bad contact. Thanks.
no,sir we don't have that lubricate,becareful use a insulted oil for instrument use one.other may damage the meter.

send back to the seller,before my ut60s also have problem of the meter not to zero in resistor range,but the meter send back fare is so expensive,Uni-T company QC is bad ,and hope you can change GOOD one on hands
Use loZ to discharge high voltage capacitors on TV power supplies for example. You can watch the voltage discharge from the capacitors on this setting.
sorry we know that LoZ is not for discharge any capacitor sir,and if it can care the voltage under your meter withstand voltage sir. or you take a resistor on high uF cap or take a short wire in a low uf cap.

I can't find in the user manual stating that this model have the Live detection function. In your video you manage to make it work. Is it safe to use the ncv mode as live wire detection using of the test leads?
ncv or high voltage testing ,test before any test,prove it first must be good sir.
and in this video 2：12 or the user manual page 17 at the down side that have ncv how to use figure and advise pls read it first sir.
please do test ut61e+ vs ut117c. I am curious how they compare.

@@rokiedecentra9656 My main multimetr is Fluke 187, it very good and pricigion, 50000 counts. I test i with Fluke 725 it very precigion. Fluke 116 (the same 117 but no current masurement) i use it for repair cars and other equipment at the client location, when my repair shop is far. Fluke 116 have only 6000 counts and some times it is not anout to see low voltage leak.
My UT117C is came. Very good device, small digits on display but it only one problem. All functions work prefect!
What would you prefer u117c or ut185a? what is better for measuring low currents less than 3mA?
we only have ut117C only and not test on this function and compare it ,but ut117C condition is best,later i check it for 3mA ,thx for watching.

The clamp adaptor specs shows its only works on AC current. I would be glad if it can handle dc current.

sorry next time i test of ut61e+ meter and tell you sir,this ut117C is new,than ut61e+ Or you can see another youtube video for choice first.
If You need good diod test and quick continyty test, also 22000 counts not anougt for work, but 60000 is anougt... than yes ut117c is better choice. Aquipment choice for the some work, so try deside what functionality You need for work. My personal opinion Ut61 was very good but it bild by GW Instek not Uni-T. Ut61+ is not better than ut61 conlinyty test is slow, NCV not usable at all. I by one UT117C for try, but now parcel on the way, if it will be good, it stay in my instruments box.

no,only have a low z dc/ac voltage measure function,it only for electrician measure the power circuit board for cancel the ghost voltage.
