I was reading the book Divergent a long time ago and I instantly thought that this song was perfect, the beat, the lyrics, the singer.. I'd always play it when I read the book or even thought about it and I thought that they were amazing together. When i watched the movie yesturday, i nearly peed my pants when i heard it on the movie. I couldn't believe it. I also had memorized Beating Heart and Find you and when they played that during the credits, i went crazy and started singing and dancing (AFTER everyone else left) and i found out a movie employee was staring at me the whole time -.- and the music soundtrack came out on my birthday!! :DDDDDDD

I really think the rap gives the song a really nice touch, it's different and it gives the song what it needs to make it pretty awesome. Yes, the one without Tinie Tempah is also pretty good, but the rap-part really mixes well with the song and the lyrics..

i love both active child's and ellie's versions of this song. active child's is heartbreaking and sad, but ultimately accepting of a the relationship ending. meanwhile ellie's is heartbreaking and desperate and it gives me the impression that she IS still hanging on to that one last hope. the very song is that last hope. they just manage to give such different yet accurate representations of the same song from slightly varying perspective. ellie does this a lot with her covers i noticed, and i love it.
also, it's been like five years since i heard this version, and... i now i remember why ellie took out tinie tempah's part for the album version 😬
