There are no mastery beats size or size beats technique. In an actual real fight anything can and does happen. Small can beat big, big can crush small. It just takes one fraction of a second in loss of concentration and the result can be the opposite. One punch, kick, knee, elbow etc can change everything. Especially ball or eye strikes, liver/kidney shots, chin shots, neck/throat, back of head/spinal shots, rear naked chokes, whatever. A small or big guy can do all that and anything can happen. Although of course if everything else is equal, then obviously you want to be the bigger stronger fighter. But bigger and stronger usually give up speed, and speed is also very important in an actual REAL fight with no rules. Bigger and stronger is better than speed in combat sports only due to the rules since they banned all the "equalizing" moves that the faster smaller guy should be aiming for 100% else he would just be at a disadvantage. That's why there are weight classes in combat sports but for a real fight anything can and does happen.
