So basically use opposites: 1. Moisturise skin well so it's hydrated. 2. Use a matte/oil control primer with dewey foundation. OR a moisturising primer with a matte foundation. 3. Set both options with hairspray- like setting spray.

That’s when I watched the tutorial video that recommended you set the nose with actual hairspray… To clarify- I meant it in this comment as a joke. However, if you are desperate- and use it sparingly? Hairspray- yes, actual hairspray- it sets the base like nothing else! Again, it’s not good for your skin and I wouldn’t recommend setting the entire face with it. There’s nothing like taking a little over an hour to have your makeup looking boss- just to have it vanish in less than 20 minutes later…

I have dehydrated dry to combo skin and I pair a glow foundation (satin/semi matte finish) with a hydrating primer and I set the base with just a little powder where needed, and set everything with a moisturizer mist first and then a good setting spray, in case this can help someone🤗🤗🤗

I do something like this with my Estée Lauder Double Wear. Hydrate the heck out of my skin and add a light primer. Except I mix a bit of Missha BB cream and a drop of glowing serum to the foundation. Makes my skin look like porcelain!
I vouch for this method, I've been using it too. Though I mix my rovectin activating treatment lotion with my Bobbi brown skin long wear foundation. Thank you for sharing the tip. It's just magical

What type of primer are you using? Also- are you using an extremely light foundation? The skin tints- are notorious for exaggerating fine lines. I know- I have rosacea, too! 😖😅❤️

Do you have a way to help with an extreme oil factory of a nose that I have? My normal skin is usually just slightly oily that I can help but my nose pumps out oil faster than an actual oil geyser.
