De Vanak is one of the old neighborhoods of Shemiran located in the green area of ​​north of Tehran. During the Qajar period, these ten lands and Tutistans were occupied during the Qajar period with the great influence of Mirza Hassan Khan Mostofi al-Malak in the Qajar government. His tomb is also located in the complex known as "Mostofi Garden" (the current location of Al-Zahra University) in Deh Vanak.
Today, this area is limited from the north to Niayesh Highway, from the south to Hemmat Highway and Wolfajr Town (northern part of Amirabad neighborhood), from the east to Vanak neighborhood and from the west to Chamran highway and Shahrak Gharb and Saadatabad neighborhoods. This neighborhood is one of the neighborhoods that still retains its old state. So all the houses are villas.
The garden of Iranian garden and the shrine of Imamzadeh Ghazi Al-Saber, a descendant of Imam Sajjad, and a cemetery of several hundred years is located in this place. In ancient times, Dehvanak had many mulberry and walnut trees as well as hawthorn, which have been destroyed over time. There were a number of running aqueducts in Dehvanak, which were closed or blinded in the 1970s because of problems for homes as well as for the construction of sewers. Famous and old parts of Deh Vanak include Bazaarcheh, Imamzadeh Alley, Gol Chaman (Sar Chaman), Zir Bagh-e No, Masjid Jame Alley, Bagh-e Bala, Maidoon and Sar-e Pol.
