    I'm so honoured that a work of literature from my country is being studied abroad. I grew up not far from Canterbury and know Thomas a Becket shrine. What a wonderful thing the internet is. Great lecture by the way.

    Pedagogy is well done and is marked by the quotations that provides more idea about Geoffrey Chaucer. Your language inspires me to speak in the sense that grammer is correct as well as the confidence that you have. Because i also want to become a teacher in my life and am doing my last year PG. I can recall some of the important points for my compehension exam which is going to be conducted tomorrow. Thanks a lot. Keep it up.

    This is SHOVON from Bangladesh. I'm a student of English Literature. My master's exam is knocking at the door. And we have a subject which is "Chaucer". The prologue to the Canterbury Tales is a topic of this subject. I have been watching some videos about this topic.     Canterbury tale got 29 or 30 characters?? Introduction didn't mention about that pilgrim are gng to Thomas becket in...and were thy stayed total number of characters 29 +2 including chaure who tld a tale Al's Al's host who tld a tale total 31 characters

    There are 30 pilgrims mentioned in the prologue excluding the narrator..Along with prioress there is second nun and 3 priests…

    "Wife" shouldn't be pronounced like you do in this video. You can check it with English and American teachers teachings the same. It is something most of our teachers mispronounce.
