- Finschhafen MP and the Opposition's nominee for PM, Hon. Rainbo Paita, responded to PM James Marape's personal attacks on him as the former Finance Minister in the PANGU-led government. PM Marape had remarked, "I gave the cheque book to a young man, and they misused it, so now I'm giving it to a senior man," while welcoming new ministers to his cabinet. In response, Hon. Paita suggested that PM Marape could have made his remarks more diplomatically and gracefully, instead of resorting to personal attacks, which he deemed unbecoming of a Prime Minister and leader of his standing. Hon. Paita made his response in Goroka during the Highlands tour of the Opposition and Alternate Team.

Well said, Mp Rainbo Paita that's the right way PM James Marape should give the right acknowledge ment, also he should nominate those reelected Mps according to their knowledge descriptions for instance, someone who has come health field like Doctor should become Health Minister instead Housing Minister, therefore most Mp don't know to perform well to carry out their duties
