In this song we hear splices from other rips, including rips that weren't released at the time of the video's posting.
The song in question is K.K. Groove-a-Numa ft. Isabelle, which was released this morning. We also hear Mr. Monokuma's Swing Class, and September by DJ K. As well as funnily enough, the ending to DJ Prof. K's Victory Theme, so either DJ was pretty confident he was gonna win. Or Missingno. predicted his own death. Either way the effort and little Easter eggs the team put into this event is fantastic and I love it.

I couldn't help but burst out laughing after the moment that steals music from every KFAD2 rip so far just be interrupted by "Would you stop playing with that radio, lord?" This rip is absolute gold.
Actually it's "Would you stop playing with that radio of yours?" Which in the original song would be followed by: "I'm trying to get some sleep!" It's actually a sample from an old TV show, which is why the audio quality on it sucks. It's also the reason the og track it's used in is called "Let Mom Sleep".

This rip makes me imagine that the two are actually fighting, with DJ Professor K trying to use different means of attack but little is working against MissingNo, as it absorbs everything thrown at it and corrupts it.

I only just noticed that recently, actually; that's a great way of showing what kind of rips we're actually in store for during their takeover, imo :)
I really like all the different interpretations of this match in the comments
The differing tempos and just kinda messy nature of the track works really well for the both of them; the glitchiness is on Missingno, and the beats are on DJPK, as if he's adapting to what Missingno has to offer
Some people see it a hard fought brawl, with DJ Professor K going up against an incomprehensible being and still holding his own, regardless of Missingno's intent
Some also see it as DJ Professor K just trying to rein Missingno in, as if Missingno's gone out of control
Others see it as DJ Professor K working with Missingno, working with it to help it out, incorporating all the glitchiness with his own style, although still trying to make it through in one piece given that Missingno is basically characterized as an otherworldly monster
I like the last interpretation in particular, I think the only contender that DJPK has ever had animosity towards is Monokuma, understandably so, whereas with everyone else he's been very respectful
So no matter who he's up against, be it a glitchy eldritch mess, a lawyer and some despair bear, or a musician from the 80s, he's always gonna want to put on a show
Also, the "will you stop playing with that radio" part could be seen as Missingno's glitchiness acting up and messing with the tracks, and it feels like a very in character kinda thing, strange as that sounds since Missingno's just a glitch and all
This is another very fun match, whether you see it as confrontational, collaborative, one thing's for certain: it's pretty damn funky

MissingNo might me the most powerful entity in those kind of battle because of his glitching abilities. Those can be:
• Making the rythm faster and slower
• Glitching voice clips
• Modifying the composition of the other’s remix (aka sounds, voices, etc.)
• Making everything louder or less loud so he can be the center of attention
• (As seen in this battle) glitching other music into his own stuff (he glitched some of the other opponents stuff in his own arrangement).

You know, ever since this song dropped, I've listened to this about every single day. That's not a bad thing.
Everything about this track is absolute flames. This song keeps going in waves between collaborations that really speak to DJPK's improvisational ability, and a choked-out struggle that puts him on the back foot, even if Missingno. isn't trying to. (like 3:10) as an ex-omega pokemon fan the gen 1 battle theme and the "gotta catch em all" chanting in the background are some INCREDIBLY flavored sprinkles on top of the cake that is this insane-o style piece of art that just oozes style. the duel rips are so great because you get to see intersections of personality and how sources can match up to create something indescribably beautiful.
This channel as a whole, but mostly the King for A Day tournaments, have been major inspirations and i am now REQUIRED to start making my own high quality rips and remixes

Having been to the end of the tournament and coming back to this rip is a trip. Both of these competitors were easily worthy of their spots. Maybe in another tournament we could see another of them taking the crown? King for Another Day 3 or however they name it?

I had no idea how this match up would go, but combining Sonic Rush and Jet Set Radio with classic Pokemon and glitches is the greatest combination I never imagined I wanted ^_^ As far as I'm concerned, these two are the most formidable competitors of the tournament, bar none.
