    Great video! Just started my journey with Facebook ads and want to get it right from the start and this video is a big help. Questions? Is it a correct statement to say that Facebook Pixels reside within GTM and how does UTM's relates to this if they do at all. Thanks again, I just subscribed to your channel and will watch most if not all your videos! I've learned the hard way that you want to begin with the most recent and work backwards since with some of these instructional videos people will not take down older videos with outdated info on them.

    Hi Andrew..another question: Why is it better to use GTM for FB pixel than just adding the pixel using the Insert Head &Footer plugin? Thank you!

    Hello there, great turorial! Is this iOs 14 safe? Or do we have to do the whole server-side GTM thing (which looks like an expensive pain in the a** :P )

    Hi Andrew! If we add the pixel with GTM do we need to remove it from the header in our website? Will is double track?

    Hi Andrew just a quesion why we don't use plugins where do we need to just put the pixel code like pixel caffeine etc, Does installing with GTM have various advantage?

    • @AndrewHubbard1
      @AndrewHubbard1  Před rokem

      Good question! You can definitely use plugins if you prefer. All are valid methods. GTM does have some advantages, including (but not limited to): allowing you to set up more advanced pixel triggers, allowing you to set up manual advanced matching, reducing the number of plugins / scripts you need to install on the website. For those reasons I like GTM, but do what works best for you mate :)

    Congratulations for the video, as always very clear
    I have a question: if I use GTM to insert the pixel in my site and set the various events and I use the method with AWS for CAPI (which you show in the recommended video), does the deduplication of events take place correctly?
    With this method of implementing CAPI, however I put the pixel on my site, will I have event deduplication? Even if I don't use GTM?
    Thanks for your time

    • @AndrewHubbard1
      @AndrewHubbard1  Před 2 lety +1

      Hey Carmine, yes you’ll get event deduplication whether you use GTM or another pixel implementation method.

    Hi Andrew! I just discovered you! You're awesome! Question: When setting the triggers for your thank you page you got pageview and lead triggers events. Wouldn't they double the event that gets sent to FB? Thank you!

    • @stefq4647
      @stefq4647 Před 2 lety +1

      Hi Jasmin, I think the answer is yes, the event would get doubled, one for the page view and one for the Lea. Both are different from each other and you can separate them in the ads manager.

    Hey Adrew! i have been following you for a while now and i must say you are a great, confident person, i like you a lot! Andrew i have been testing new products with FB ads now and been getting ~3.5$/click while targeting only the big 5 countries. do you think 3.5$/click is high for a cold audience? (new product, just testing audiences). I know it's best to keep it under 1$/click. I'm doing Ecom for 3 years now and still struggling to pull off a winner, but i am constantly looking for solutions. what you think about my situation?

    • @orikakuli1
      @orikakuli1 Před 2 lety

      i must say i get no conversations on that so i'm not sure if it's high quality audiences or not. it is a high ticket product that i'm testing, and also it does say the quality ranking of the ads are below average although i have changed the video, the thumbnail and the text a little. got no popups or other spammy things in my site tho.

  • @drshammitheesandermatology125

    Hello, good vid. Why not set the lead trigger at a priority of 9? why did you go down by 5?

    • @AndrewHubbard1
      @AndrewHubbard1  Před 2 lety

      Thank you. That’s just how I set them, but you can certainly do it a little differently and use 9. As long as it’s lower than the priority of the base pixel it will work just fine.

      Hey Andrew, Any help is appreciated. It's saying the pixel is firing twice and the "page view" on Facebook pixel helper is showing a yellow exclamation mark. The pixel isn't firing twice, I have deleted the pixel from google tag manager and placed it back on, across all pages, and the problem is still flashing up. I have even blocked other websites from sending data in a traffic permission list incase the pixel is receiving multiple sets of data.

      Looks like Woocommerce have their own Wordpress plug-in for setting up the Facebook pixel

    • @AndrewHubbard1
      @AndrewHubbard1  Před 2 lety +2

      You can definitely set up Google tag manager to pass back dynamic purchase values but you’ll likely need a developer to set it up unless you’ve got some coding knowledge yourself, hence the recommendation to use their native plug-in if possible.

    Andrew, can you help? Tag Assistant gave me this error: A Global Site Tag was found for "G-VHST73Y066", but no gtag config calls were detected. What does this mean? I think the site tag was installed for Google Analytics. Does this mean it's broken? Thanks.

    Hi Andrew, I just subbed to your Channel!
    Could you please make a video, about the guideline/how to make a SAFE copywriting for the ad so that our ad account will not get restricted/disabled? (i.e., including the title, description, image, URL, Call to Action, etc. )
    The ad uses the Objective Conversion (sales), and I want the audience to visit my Landing Page for my product.
    Massive appreciation if you could make this video!
    Cheers!
