HELLO!!! Y'all have to help me name this trigger/concept - it's like visualizations but NOT??

But this is like - similar but different ish?? Maybe the same! LET ME KNOW
But more importantly... I hope you leave me some comments to read because I really am dying to know what everyone else "saw"! It also reminds me of this viral image/tweet I've seen many times about how different people conceptualize and "see" different level of detail in their head. The original tweet was deleted but you can google like;;; apple visualization exercise to see what I mean haha.

As someone with aphantasia (no mental imagery/ability to visualize) this was interesting. I didn’t realize people could actually ‘picture’ things until last year-thought it was a metaphor. Interesting that people see images with different levels of detail!

Same. I went through all of my younger childhood thinking my teachers were metaphorically asking the class to visualise the sea. I was so confused. Now I can sit and be smug about not having to do work lol.
I can see pictures in my head but I dont have a very good imagination so like if someone says a dog I think of my dogs and if someone says a house I think of my house so my imagination isn’t very wild but this has helped me go to sleep and try to get a better imagination

Gosh, Gibi actually i don't like giving this kind of a compliment because it's so superficial, but you are so beautiful. It's not just your look, it's kind of connected to your being: I feel so safe and comfortable while watching your videos. This is crazy, because i actually don't feel such things a lot of the time because of course it's not like i know anyone from online personally. But I just wanted to say thanks for being there for so many of us, even though we never talk to each other or / and it's kind of a "one side" connection, because you don't really get to know a lot of your subscribers. after watching Gibi for a while now I think I've finally found out what my favorite type of ASMR is. I really enjoy the close up slow whispering (Same as this video). but i also really like the filler/background/white noise that comes with roleplay videos. Like the very subtle noise you get when moving with a jacket on, or the noise you get when using a tool, not tapping the tool but actually using the tool. The "Let Me Fix Your Malfunctions" video that Gibi did a month ago was an incredibly tingle filled video for me. The Fixing Your Sleep Malfunction was the same, with the jacket noise and tool noises. it was just heaven. I do now realize that I just really liked the fixing malfunctions videos, but i hope you do more of those type of videos. Either way, this was a nice video and got me ready for bed, even tho its mid day!
Do you also watch Dr. T ASMR? If not give it a shot, I think it fits what you enjoy!

11. i'm in a house with my future wife/girlfriend and the room has white walls, a bunch of pictures/paintings in gold frames, heavy antique furniture, and string lights twinkling everywhere. the bed is a queen size with a huge white comforter and all white sheets. it's really early in the morning so the sun is streaming in the windows and the room is freezing but in a comfortable way.
12. when i get sucked down through the bed i end up in a lake somehow? like i'm underwater, floating and suspended just below the surface, and when i come up for air i'm in a fjord with beautiful mountains in the background.
13. a beach with a ton of cliffs and big rocks in the back. it's very peaceful and sunny and there's a ton of tide pools that i can explore.

I watched the short version on gibi rest stop and loved it so much that i genuinely squeaked with joy when i found out there's a full version
My circle was a 2D image, out in front of me, taking maybe 3/4ths of my shut-eye view, with a blue outline against a black background. This is a fun concept to explore - I’ve always been curious how other people visualize things.

I loved this I recently had a discussion with a friend about how they go about building a scene in their mind when reading stories/books because I had never spoken to anyone about this before and this video kinda goes in the same lane so I'm really glad you let us know how you imagined it because sometimes it's staggering how different other people's minds work! 💖

🌙Here's my initial answers for each one:
-Circle: Flat, colored in, medium space, right in front of me, exactly the same as gibi's
-House: Like a kid's drawing, in the middle of nowhere, 2 story, yellow, front door, windows, no chimney, no shudders, view is from outside the house, I don't think I've seen it before
- Clever Person: Um my first thought was Swiper from Dora the Explorer for some reason lol, funny how we both went to foxes
-Decadent Dessert: It was a realistic regular cheesecake with a ganache stacked with a bunch of fruit, one tier
-My marker was red too!
-It was a grey tabby cat
-For some reason my plane landed in the Bahamas too even though I don't like the beach 😅
-I thought of a girl wearing a princess costume and a boy wearing a vampire costume, very little kids
-My mind went to animal planet and it was just like a nature documentary
-Ew the first thing I thought of was milk noooo
-New Bedroom: Daytime, very woodsy, whimsical, bright, airy, lots of plants, very cottagecore, lots of evergreen, wood floor, lots of nature paintings, bookshelves

I have that thing where you can’t see things in your mind properly, so these exercises are always both a fun challenge and infuriating for me. Answers below!
My circle was 2D with a black outline. It was away from me, in front of a yellow wall, but not drawn directly on it.
My house was interesting. I could see it from a distance from above, with no roof, exactly like the Sims 4 build mode lmao. It was two storeys, with light blue walls and a warm interior with lots of bright furniture.
My clever person was a really crude outline of a cartoon person, hardly visible. They were a nerdy caricature, big glasses and a straight face, but not unkind. They also wore a simple dress shirt.
My dessert was fun as a baker; it was the clearest image of all. It was a chocolate fondant, with a spun caramel bowl holding a pistachio macaron and some icecream of some kind. It was plated on a black plate, sitting on a red tablecloth, with silverware around it.
My marker was fluctuating between navy blue and dark green.
My animal at the store was also a lizard! A big one.
My plane landed in Thailand (I’ve travelled there a lot, so it’s familiar).
Halloween isn’t really done here, so I could just see my daughter and her friends in their book week costumes (fairies and princesses).
The channel was playing a nature documentary.
My drink was a cold energy drink (I misplaced one today, clearly I’m still seething lol).
My bedroom was filled with sunlight, and very maximalist with lots of bright art and photos and LOTS of plants. There was a long desk for crafting under a huge window. The bed was tall and plush, with lots of blankets.
When I went through the bed, I was just floating backwards, downwards, into a deep blue abyss. Not unlike the Kingdom Hearts cinematic opening lmao.
My nature spot was sitting on spongy grass and moss by a creek, with dappled sunlight and critters darting around in the water. It was warm and smelled damp.
My outfit was platform shoes and an emerald green silky dress. Do they go together? Probably not. Was I wearing it anyway, and looking good? Yes.
My pyjamas were grey, soft but not fluffy. The pants were long, and the shirt had short sleeves and some kind of graphic on it.

For the circle I pictured a large sphere that’s metallic, almost like a mirror so everything reflects. It’s floating in the middle of the desert 😗
The house was a cute 2 story cottage in the countryside. It had a big green front yard with a really pretty weeping willow tree. A long stone driveway. The house was brick but like white/washed brick if that makes sense? A cute door that was arched, all the windows had shudders and flowers. Never seen it before but I want to live in this house 😭
My clever person is from the book series I’m reading A Court Of Thrones and Roses. Rhysand- He was in his classic black suit with his hands in his pocket. He has violet “star flecked” eyes as the book says. He looks to be on his mid-upper 20s even though he’s centuries old because he’s High Fae
For the desserts I pictured a bunch of fresh and flakey apple and cherry turnovers bc those are my fave 🤤 just all laid out on a picnic table

How is it even possible? I'M CRYING EVERYONE. First with the clever person I thought of my dad because he is so smart and cool, I pictured him teaching me and holding my hand like when I was a toddler, holy god with every visualization I felt so creative and relieved like, just free. Gibi thank you so much, this experience fulfilled my heart and my mind, and just, thank you so much!

Gibiiii I come back to this video so often! My favorites are always your roleplays, because my geeky self really enjoys them, but this is the one I always come back to when my brain is being too loud for me to sleep. It helps me focus on one thing (visualizing) and not the three billion things going on in my brain.
When you told us to picture a house I immediately pictured a gingerbread house, no idea why! I love your videos, they always help me fall asleep 😴💜
This trigger is amazing. Like it grounded me so much during an anxiety attack and I even felt tingles for the first time in a WHILE. The tapping with this trigger was so relaxing!

Gibi’s ASMR is really nice, I feel like she herself has a calming vibe about her that shows in the videos and puts me tp sleep.

*Circle*: a black, 2d circle. its about arms length from me and covers maybe 1/4th of the picture. for some reason, its on a dark grey background. the circle is barely visible.
*House*: its just a square with a triangle on top. its drawn onto a blank sheet of paper in crayon. roof is blue, square is red, windows are light blue, and door is green. nothing is coloured in.
*Clever Person*: not exactly a person but i picture a bright orange, anthropomorphic fox like from a fable or something. he wears a blue-grey suit. he is standing on his hind legs in the grass. he has a sort of smirk on his face. he's kinda cartoony lookin.
*Decadent Dessert*: a basic tres leches cake about the size of my hand. white frosting ruffled on the top edge and smoothed over the top part of the cake. there are slices of strawberry and kiwi and other such fruits placed in the ruffles. its not sitting on top of anything. it's on a light pink background.
*Marker*: a bright red crayola marker stained with coloured finger prints. I am holding the marker. the picture was just of my hands and the marker. the background is of the church I attended when I was in preschool.
*Animal*: a handful of budgies, some baby blue, some bright green, basic budgie colours. pretty much the whole picture looked like it came out of petsmart lol.
*Vacation Destination*: my home state. i am in the window seat of the plane. the scene is approaching midday. the sky isn't very cloudy. no trees but there is an occasional patch of grass as we speed down the runway.
*Costume*: a young girl maybe 9 in a pink princess gown, wig, and tiara. she holds a plastic jack-o-lantern bucket. and her little brother maybe 6 in a generic superhero costume, blue onesie, red mask, yellow cape, and sneakers. he holds a decorated pillow case. the scene is almost dark and the porch light is on.
*Random Channel*: wonder pets!! the true og. all three pets are in the middle of singing their theme.
*Drink*: my own homemade lemonade. a little pulpy, ice cubes still in it, almost melted. its in a translucent plastic pitcher with a red lid. the scene is in my friends kitchen oddly enough.
*Room*: i can see its almost dark through the one window on the back wall. its lightly raining. the room is dimly light with fairy lights hanging around the edges of the ceiling. the room is carpeted. the room is a little small. the walls are a warm yellow, a little more tinted towards an orangey hue than green. the bed is tucked into the top right corner of the room. it has four orange and white pillows (two functional and two decorative) and a few plushies of all shapes, sizes, and colours. the blanket is a solid honey yellow and very plush. there's a little cream white dresser in the opposite corner with three drawers. on top sits more plushies and a clock. beside it is a desk of the same colour. on top sits my laptop and a cup full of writing and drawing utensils. it has an orange stool tucked underneath. next to the bed is a cream white nightstand. a small dim reading lamp sits on top along with a book and my phone. in the center of the ceiling, there's a fan, turned on to a slow setting. on the left and right walls hang several lines of yarn and string with clips on them. most clips are occupied by photos of my family and friends, my artwork, art my friends have made for me and other such things.
*Sinking Area*: a dark void. no light. everything around me is black. there is white noise that is quiet but in the silence feels very loud. it feels like being pulled under water. I can breathe but only with much effort. barely visible bubbles leave my mouth as I exhale.
*New Area*: a heavily wooded area. all the trees are deciduous. its dawn. approaching day, sun just barely peaking through gaps in the leaves. the tree trunks are long and slender and the leaves are outspread closer to the tops of the trees. the land is entirely flat. im laying drenched on dark packed dirt. a few strands of grass poke out of the ground, maybe a few dandelions. no life anywhere.
*Outfit*: a black dress. it has a long round neckline. the shoulders are exposed and the sleeves are long and flowy. the waist is fitted to my body. theres a long slit on the left leg. the back of the dress drags just slightly. I'm in elegant black heels. I have a black velvet choker and long silver necklace on along with diamond earrings and silver bracelets.
*Pajamas*: a very loose fitting graphic tee, along with stretchy black short shorts with drawstrings at the waist.

Circle: My circle was basically the same as Gibi’s. It was a black outline of a circle that was medium size in the middle of my minds eye. The background was like a blank piece of paper.
House: The house I picture was basically a child’s drawing version of the emoji house 🏠
Smart person: My smart person was a somewhat young person smiling very loudly. They were wearing a black suit with black glasses and black hair and a pencil behind their ear. They also had a lightbulb above their head.
Decadent dessert: My dessert was very similar to gibis but based off a different thing. It was a multi tiered cartoon strawberry cake that looked very squishy. My cake was definitely based off the strawberry cake in one of the dr. Seuss books, I remember always getting hungry when looking at that cake. Cartoon cakes look delicious.

to start: i cant visualise things with my eyes closed. only when they’re open (unless i’m unconscious)
circle: a black void background with a 2d circle. it changed from being red and white and from being an outline and solid
house: same black void, house from a 3/4ths perspective facing toward the right. it looks like the house from eye tests. it’s “fake” looking, like an old 3d video game with bad graphics.
clever: i imagined looking through this persons eyes and what it feels like to have their face. it’s still me, but my face feels “pulled back” like i have a tight ponytail (or like that makeup trend where people put tape on their temples lol.) i feel like i’m standing up straight, like nothing can knock me over, and i feel a little taller than usual. (which isn’t really relative to anything, since i’m still in a black void.)
dessert: just some normal chocolate fudge squares in one of those “maybe cookies probably sewing supplies” tins. it was on a table in front of a christmas tree, for some reason. (the tree was just in the background, not “in focus” there were hazy yellowy white string lights on it) it looked like a really zoomed in photograph

room: it’s daytime in the spring, the windows are open and it’s breezy outside. there’s a meadow outside the window. the bed is pushed right up underneath. all of the blankets are very lightweight and navy blue and there’s 1 pillow with a floral pillowcase. there’s books and papers with random drawings and notes on the bed. i’m sitting on the bed flipping through them. i’m in a cabin at summer camp. everyone else’s areas are different, what i described is just my “space”. no one else is there. it’s just me.
under the bed: i had a hard time with this one, because i was never sleeping, and i was focused on a project of some sort. i really didn’t want to leave it. i just ended up in a little cave under the cabin.
deep breath: i breathed in and it was really dusty, i breathed out and i was in the meadow outside my bedroom window 💀 (i guess i have a knack for consistent worldbuilding)
returning to the minds eye bed involved me just brushing off and going back inside 🧍

Circle: Basically what Gibi pictured
House: A doodle I did in class of a house with a chimney with smoke coming out, two square windows, a door, one round attic window, little lines and things to represent the shingles on the roof, a tree with a tire swing, lots of flowers, and finally, a big sun.
Clever Person: I thought of Megamind in his lair slightly hunched over with his hands togeather and a grin on his face. Probably because I read about him earlier today.
Decadent Dessert: That one thing I used to always get at Friendly's. With tons of whipped cream, gummy bears, and M&M's on top of two scoups of vanilla bean. It seems a lot of mine are mostly things from my past so far.
Marker: There's three markers, a blue and red one right next to each other, and a black one that stands off to the side. It gave me this wonderful idea for a painting months ago, though I haven't done anything with the idea but dream.
Pet Store: It's this store that has a chicken coop right where you enter. And there are tons of baby chicks in it. Outside, there's this large silo-like tower that's a little off to the side with red and white in a checker pattern. The outside of the store itself is made of wood, but it has sliding doors.
Plane Vacation: I stare out the window and watch the clouds and the ground roll by until an announcement from the pilots says that we're about to land. I do not know where, and that doesn't bother me. If anything, it calms me in a way, as if I am starting life again. The first one that isn't some past experience.
Halloween Costume: It's a kid who's younger than me. They're the only one at the door, but they don't seem to mind. They're wearing a pumpkin costume with face paint, and their eyes sparkle with excitement when they receive the candy.
TV Channel: When I switch on the TV, at first there's this QVC ad channel. But when I decide to randomly press the keypad, an old episode of Tom and Jerry comes on.
Fridge Drink: I find an old bottle of apple juice. Still tastes good. I wonder how it was able to avoid everyone else until I found it in the back.
New Bedroom: I find myself on a large bed. The sheets are a dull but gentle purple, and the blanket is a cool greyish black. Across from me is a drawer, an old wooden drawer that I feel like I've seen before. On top of it is a paleish pink salt lamp that emits light. Next to the lamp is a cup holder that I made. The design on the cup holder is one of a heart, with a lighting bolt going down the middle. It is made of various pieces of tile. Then, there are pictures of me as a child, some are real and others are not, but they all share a similar style. Beside the pictures are a medal I won in middle school, the ribbon is a bit torn but still in one piece. Various pens and pencils are next, only somewhat organized. The room itself is enveloped in a cool orange tone. The door is to my left, and my closet is to the right. I cannot see outside, but I have a feeling that it is night.
Getting Cozy: I wake up in an empty space. A black void. Perhaps a representation of my many dreamless nights? I let out a sigh, and get up. Maybe I could make this place something new, something special, something that will be sustained. But do I succeed? I do not know. But I will try.
Nature: I see a dense and lush jungle around me. Green surrounds me, and the only sound is the trees in the wind.
Fancy Pants: When I look in the mirror, I am greeted by a rose colored suit. Shiny silver studding lines my shoulders, and I have a silver locket. Inside the locket is a reminder, which I only allow myself to see. I have a brown leather watch on my left wrist. And I put down my glasses, for I no longer need them. I look at myself in the mirror and ask, "Who do you wish to be? What is it that I desire?". It's a question that's hard to answer, but I have hope that it will be clear one day.
PJ's: A simple pair of loose fitting pants that are soft, and a short sleeved maroon shirt. I care not what I wear, but how it makes me feel and what it means to me. And at the end of the day, I would not have it be any other way.

1. Circle - Full black background, 2D solid white circle in the middle, kinda small.
2. House - A lone small house in a forest, one story, white and orange colours. Think animal crossing houses (probably because I'm playing that right now lol).
3. Clever Person - Middle aged woman in a dark blue suit, not someone I know. Serious looking facial expression. Mid-length straight black hair.
4. Decadent Dessert - Three tiered chocolate/tiramisu cake, lots of intricate chocolate details on the top and sides. Strawberries on top too.
5. Marker - Like a forest green.
6. Pet Store - Hedgehog :)
7. Vacation - New Zealand (been there twice, both times as a kid).
8. Halloween - Young kid in a lizard or mummy costume lol

13. Nature - Like a worms-eye-view of the forest from the leaf litter.
14. Outfit - High waisted, flared, black pants, tucked in black shirt, and a loosely tucked in unbuttoned dress shirt with a colourful pattern. Big black boots.
15. PJs - Pants I already own (blue satin shorts with this pattern of a shrimp that says "shrimply the best dad" lol) with an imaginary matching shirt.

~Cozy Bedroom pt.2~ I fall inside the land that my book takes place. Specifically the underwater mermaid castle, in the princess' quarters; I have a mermaid tail
~Cozy Bedroom pt.3~ A big meadow surrounded with trees during the day; there's a big, beautiful waterfall, making a crystal clear lake; Loads of pretty wildflowers
~Getting dressed~ I'm going to a party event of some sort; First, I shower (Bear with me, it has to do with my look, with how i'd look in real life), and come out with stunning curls; I'm wearing an emerald green knee-length off-shoulder dress, with black heels, and matching emerald jewelry; I am wearing my contacts, and bring a simple, yet cute, matte black handbag
~Pajamas~ A cute dark blue T-shirt with the words "Still Weekending", with light gray Calvin Klein shorts. Underneath I wear my favourite light gray bra, and It's SO comfy

My circle was just a 2D outline, kind of medium sized and right behind my eyelids. It was black through and through, just like the rest of everything but the outline was going back and forth between neon green and purple.
My house was literally like a four year old's drawing of a house with M shaped birds lol
My clever person got deep lol I pictured all of my exes kind of just rotating around in a circle. All extremely clever in a manipulative, hurtful kind of way.
My dessert was all chocolate. Chocolate molten cake, with hot fudge sauce dripping down the sides, with a chocolate ball on the top you could break open for more hot fudge sauce and gold specks flaked on top.
My marker was turquoise.
My animal at the pet store was a pug puppy with giant eyes. Which is funny because I'm a cat person.
My plane landed in Mexico.
For Halloween, I too saw a witch and a ghost, both five or six years old.
The channel on tv was playing Andy Griffith lol
My drink was chocolate milk - which is my comfort drink.
My bedroom was huuuuuge, like the size of a king's bedroom with a massive four post California king sized bed in the center. It was dark, I think middle of the night type dark, so I could really only see outlines but I know all the colors were dark. Dark browns, blacks, golds and brown leathers. Very masculine. Cold, wooden floors that I felt on my feet when I walked to the huge window that overlooked a courtyard - it was snowing and it was Christmas.
When I went through the bed, I just kept falling.
In nature, I was standing in a field that didn't look unlike Edward and Bella from Twilights field lol there were flowers and dandelions floating through the air and it was really sunny and magical.
My outfit was a deep red dress, with lots of lace and a high slit. My hair was long and curled and pinned up one side and I was wearing bright red lipstick to match.
I wouldn't wear any of those things in real life lol
My pajamas were pale pink with cats on them and I was wearing fuzzy grey bedroom slippers with huge fluffy pink hearts on top
