My boyfriend and I of two years are currently doing long distance due to him getting stationed states away in the military, and I know it is difficult at times being apart from each other for long periods of time. My boyfriend and I did long distance for 4 1/2 years (he's Norwegian and I'm American and was in college). We would go 4-8 months in between seeing each other, So it's nice to know there are other couples out there who fought to save something special :)
