I don't think these news media understand his point: with great power in this case tech/AI comes great responsibility. he just wants more done in form of accountability and safety regulations ethical and legal is all. nothing more nothing less. not a hard concept to grasp. geesh......
1:50 ..Steve!! ...we love you Steve !
living legend.
agreed
He should be OpenAI CTO.
Steve Wozniak does not seem to do anything in the technology sector. He simply lives off his Apple stock.
which he made from being the technology guy behind apple... I'm sure he keeps up to date with shit
@@sangodan3031 He helped Apple in the beginning for about 5 years but left once things got hard. What product or idea has he helped with over the last 30 years? All of the current Apple devices are a result of the hard work of Steve Jobs and his team from NEXT computers. NEXT computers is what prevented Apple from going bankrupt.
And who are you?
I simply cannot recommend The Hedonistic Imperative by philosopher David Pearce enough. In short it proposes how humanity could - and convincingly makes the case why we SHOULD - use artificial intelligence to abolish non-voluntary suffering in all sentient life.
AI doesn't have an endocrine system so it has absolutely zero empathy.
Which makes it the perfect psychopath.
Not exactly the best type to employ in the care industry.
@@public.public We don’t need it to have empathy we need it to achieve the goals that we assign it. If I tell it to alleviate suffering and it does I only care that it’s achieved it’s given task not at all wether or not it feels empathy. Respectfully, very poor argument.
why did this happen to me, why did they do this to me
Focus more on governance while AI is becoming bigger
Man, Steve Wozniak is like a nice gentle fat old rabbit.
A benevolent albino tech orangutan
He used to be sexy back in the 80s and 90s.
We will not hold back. If we did that, bad actors will still continue to iterate and evolve. We will not be stopping the advancement of AI so long as we keep trying to maintain control and prevent bad actors from using this tech.
If you don't know how it has learned and don't know what it has learned how are you even going to know if the good guys using it aren't being the bad guys through ignorance?
what did Jim want when he called me a few weeks ago
If you send this Wozniak interview to three people on your contacts list, then those people will stop messing with you.
who is this woman and why is she asking stupid questions?
Assuming you're referring to the woman in the comments, she is mentally ill/unwell. Be compassionate.
She is Caroline Hyde and she is filling in for Emily Chang
👌👌👌👌👌

two or three times something happened where i called my mom and she kept saying "hello? hannah? hello?" as i was trying to respond to her saying "hey mom can you hear me? hello?" and the signal was fuzzy. either her or i hung up. then i called her back and she said that it sounded like a robot saying "HeLlO tHiS iS hAnNaH" - wtf is that about? also i got a weird notification on my phone when trying to connect a third party app to linkedin and it said it can't be connected because my phone number is not connected to a carrier - like it's a VoIP phone number. how do i find out if that's true, and also, if the people behind this who did this to my phone and keep messing with me, STOP IT. STOP MESSING WITH ME AND STOP TRYING TO INTERFERE WITH MY LIFE. HOW CAN YOU FUCKING LIVE WITH YOURSELF YOU EVIL PIECES OF SHIT
wut
AI? bye bye middle class.
