It is quite logical that the supporters of both teams would declare that they won the 'debate', while clearly i don't see any intellectual debate based on the behaviors of certain. First of all, the time allocated to answer was too little. I suppose it was a scholarly debate, a minimum of 20-30 minutes should have been allocated to the answer section. Mr Bhurthun mentioned that he possessed a document of 50 pgs. of refutation. I question myself how one is expect to answer all these issues in just a mere 1hr30 mins to 2hrs. Secondly, i fail to understand how come Mr Yaseen Bhurthun and the one next to him are smiling/laughing when Qaari Mansoor was citing decisive lines from the Shahr ul Aqaaid an-Nasafiyya of Imam Ibn Abd Allah At-Taftazani. This is one of the most important books of theology which every scholar is supposed to master. Thirdly, i don't get the point of the debate organized by Mr Bhurthun, was it to create more misunderstandings & problems than reconciliation? According to the article you were using, you mentioned it was written 'The 10 Promised only', however after reading it, Qaari Mansoor said 'Bann; which included The Promised + others mentioned in other ahadith'. The issue should have been solved [were it for sincerity], but instead i was surprised by the argument you brought forth; 'To p zuer to munafiqat, Mansoor'. Fourthly, Qaari Mansoor was very calm throughout the debate unless provoked while Mr Bhurtun was very [i would say] angry/emotional. According to the sciences of mantiq (Islamic Philosophy/Logic), a calm person is one who has arguments while an angry person is someone emotionally attached to something without any rational justification. In short, i do not understand again why people cannot understand this phrase: 'The 10 Promised Jannah, and others mentioned in ahadith are DEFINITELY jannati, while the rest of the companions are jannati' i.e the difference between yaqeen and oummeed

There is nothing more beautiful than a Sunni Shaykh refuting a non-Sunni Shaykh, as there is nothing more important than Aqeedah. However, There is nothing worse, than Sunni Shaykhs attacking each other. If the Aqeedah is the same, then the dispute must be over something else. If there was a genuine intention of a scholarly discussion, it could be done, quietly, confidentially, behind closed doors, oh wait, but then how would these Shaykhs attain titles, and how would people know who won and who lost. Pathetic!! How is sitting in a gathering or a Masjid attacking another Shaykh, the right way to go about things? He ain't gonna listen to your lecture. So you're just feeding your own Nafs. How is writing against each other the positive way forward? Even the deceased have not been forgiven in such egotistical battles. Allah Hu Akbar!! The dispute is often over fans, following, Mureeds, fame. If not, at times it's just general arrogance, ego, big headedness. Sometimes it's to claim rank over one another, and sadly other times it's merely to mock and ridicule one another. And of course, such attacks/disputes are often given a Furoo'i (فروعى) front, i.e. it's a Jurisprudential dispute, it's a linguistic issue, it's a blah blah blah issue. Dafeh!! And to make such situations even worse, the Students/Mureeds are doing exactly the same thing as the Shaykhs, on their respective platforms i.e. social media. If you're too busy, attacking and arguing with Sunni's over disputed or non-Aqeedah topics, when you could be out there refuting non-Sunni's, then you're not working for Ahl us Sunnah Wal Jama'ah, rather you're working against Ahl us Sunnah Wal Jama'ah. It is quite logical that the supporters of both teams would declare that they won the 'debate', while clearly i don't see any intellectual debate based on the behaviors of certain.
First of all, the time allocated to answer was too little. I suppose it was a scholarly debate, a minimum of 20-30 minutes should have been allocated to the answer section. Mr Bhurthun mentioned that he possessed a document of 50 pgs. of refutation. I question myself how one is expect to answer all these issues in just a mere 1hr30 mins to 2hrs.
Secondly, i fail to understand how come Mr Yaseen Bhurthun and the one next to him are smiling/laughing when Qaari Mansoor was citing decisive lines from the Shahr ul Aqaaid an-Nasafiyya of Imam Ibn Abd Allah At-Taftazani. This is one of the most important books of theology which every scholar is supposed to master.
Thirdly, i don't get the point of the debate organized by Mr Bhurthun, was it to create more misunderstandings & problems than reconciliation? According to the article you were using, you mentioned it was written 'The 10 Promised only', however after reading it, Qaari Mansoor said 'Bann; which included The Promised + others mentioned in other ahadith'. The issue should have been solved [were it for sincerity], but instead i was surprised by the argument you brought forth; 'To p zuer to munafiqat, Mansoor'.
Fourthly, Qaari Mansoor was very calm throughout the debate unless provoked while Mr Bhurtun was very [i would say] angry/emotional. According to the sciences of mantiq (Islamic Philosophy/Logic), a calm person is one who has arguments while an angry person is someone emotionally attached to something without any rational justification.
In short, i do not understand again why people cannot understand this phrase:
'The 10 Promised Jannah, and others mentioned in ahadith are DEFINITELY jannati, while the rest of the companions are jannati' i.e the difference between yaqeen and oummeed

There is nothing more beautiful than a Sunni Shaykh refuting a non-Sunni Shaykh, as there is nothing more important than Aqeedah.
However,
There is nothing worse, than Sunni Shaykhs attacking each other. If the Aqeedah is the same, then the dispute must be over something else.
If there was a genuine intention of a scholarly discussion, it could be done, quietly, confidentially, behind closed doors, oh wait, but then how would these Shaykhs attain titles, and how would people know who won and who lost. Pathetic!!
How is sitting in a gathering or a Masjid attacking another Shaykh, the right way to go about things? He ain't gonna listen to your lecture. So you're just feeding your own Nafs. How is writing against each other the positive way forward? Even the deceased have not been forgiven in such egotistical battles. Allah Hu Akbar!!
The dispute is often over fans, following, Mureeds, fame. If not, at times it's just general arrogance, ego, big headedness. Sometimes it's to claim rank over one another, and sadly other times it's merely to mock and ridicule one another.
And of course, such attacks/disputes are often given a Furoo'i (فروعى) front, i.e. it's a Jurisprudential dispute, it's a linguistic issue, it's a blah blah blah issue. Dafeh!!
And to make such situations even worse, the Students/Mureeds are doing exactly the same thing as the Shaykhs, on their respective platforms i.e. social media.
If you're too busy, attacking and arguing with Sunni's over disputed or non-Aqeedah topics, when you could be out there refuting non-Sunni's, then you're not working for Ahl us Sunnah Wal Jama'ah, rather you're working against Ahl us Sunnah Wal Jama'ah.
Sometimes there is a very thin line, between defending and destroying.
