  • Don't call it a Hummer, this is a Humvee. Welcome to the first Toy provided by a viewer! What a Toy, a genuine military Humvee California registered. Come along and ride around town in this ridiculous thing! #hummerev coming soon. What is the most attention grabbing vehicle you have ever driven on public roads? Having something like this is akin to having a Willys Jeep, never made for public consumption, but iconic.

I won a M1123 at gov planet for $9,600. It's the second generation HMMWV. It has a 6.5 engine the trans is a 4 speed w-park. The EUC took 2 months to clear.

Good to know they are street legal in California. Looking to get one from govplanet. Wish prices would be lower lol. Seems they were lower 3 years ago. I think people are more interested in them now.

This one was registered in CA quite a while ago. It's pretty close to impossible to register one now that hasn't already been registered unfortunately.

@@AdultsHaveToysToo Really? I heard people still do it. It's hard but not impossible I think. I don't see why dmv would decline this vehicle.

@@mrdato116 I think the biggest issue is that it doesn't have a VIN. But if you can get one through that would be awesome!

@@AdultsHaveToysTooso if understand correctly- new sold humvees won’t be allowed on road use, but what about humvees that are already in private party hands that have a pink slip and are on road legal already, will they get there on road legality revoked?

@@AdultsHaveToysToo not really, I’ve watched a video on youtube about someone who was able to register it, here is what he says : - [ ] Ritchie Brothers who runs govplanet you have to registered as a new-build remove the plate number from the inside tell DMV year that is implacable for the motor and then registered however you're still going to have to pay all the weight fees for it” I hope this helps!

how do you make a California street legal??

Today I think it's just about impossible. This was a movie car that got grandfathered in.

    A 1992 so a M998, and it's not a Humvee, it a HMMWV.

Ah, good point, though it could be pronounced the same though, right? Humvee kinda being the nick name pronunciation of the letters. Kinda like Jeep being the nickname pronunciation of GP. Obviously this is the perspective of an outsider looking at this. Anything else I was off on in the video? Thanks for watching.

@@AdultsHaveToysToo Yeah, it is in fact how it is pronounced. I was just kind of being a smartass. Anyway, good job with the video.

998s suck on the highway. Later model hmmwv have overdrive which makes them better to drive on highway
