2009 this is exactly what Memphis Detectives did to me and held my car . Wouldn’t let me press charges either after a year returned my weapon looked at the paperwork and I was the one being investigated and not the life long felon.

It's one thing to give people rights but it's quite another thing to allow them to exercise those rights. Just becauser one has rights does not mean they can be exercised. This is the hallmark of a totalitarian government, to make people believe they have rights, but punish them for exercising those rights, effectively taking those rights away. There should be a legal recourse. Isn't there some provision to sue state officials who violate the consitutional rights of people? or can they just prosecute people for exercising constitutional rights with impunity?
cA just charged me with 23900pc for customizing my Glock after trying to comply with a false RO put on me which ordered me to turn in my firearms. Police concluded my firearm wasn’t a Glock because I had an aftermarket slide and barrel which still contained my dros serial number
The whole problem is “people” don’t have “leo immunity “ so the big thumb is on the scale of justice. Remove that qualified immunity “big thumb” (prosecutorial immunity)watch the scales come closer to balance.
All im saying is a I would totally understand why someone who was protecting themselves and others from a clear threat is convicted of a felony and that person then illegally buys a gun and shoots the DA that prosecuted them. Why didnt the DA just call police... you get get back what you put out. People with nothing left to lose arent pursuaded by laws.
What is being said here is true. I am saying that it can and will happen to a person, it happens all the time. When an innocent person is in an emergency, you may call the police for help, they may come to help you, but most of the time the police will investigate and interrogate you. This video explains much of what can happen after a self defense incident and the police will not care about you. The information they seek is not for truth from you. They use intimidation, lying, threats of prison time, and condemnation. This is all the being for that innocent individual if he/she does not have Legal Representation from a trained Lawyer that knows the laws and your Rights.
The law-abiding people are easier to prosecute because they document their actions as required by the government. Also, the law-abiding have assets that the lawyers can take away by defending and by prosecuting them. There is no profit in defending a poor person. And the poor will reelect the government officials when they go easy on them.
I ask respectfully, what can anyone that is innocent and is going through these trying times, what can be done to NOT be treated and abused like this. Criminals do not care who they may hurt or kill, there are much lying and confusion going on, people die in these real life dramas; what can be done to prevent these nightmares??? Police and Sheriffs make mistakes, but you have some that do not care who they destroy.

yes it is. you then need to defend your illegal act in court with what's called an "affirmative defense". That's what the insurance is for.
