It's so cool to see people outside of Belgium excited to visit our smaller plopsa parks! I have so many memories here from when I was little. The drive up there was an adventure as well with the steep hills upwards in the Ardennen😭

We always love a first park visit and we’ve for 6 of them coming up this trip!

The feeling you get when you visit a park for the first time is unreal. It’s a complicated cocktail of excitement, awe and a few nerves, what I would give to relive my first time at a theme park. Hope you had an amazing time and enjoy the rest of your trip 😊

For those wondering, Plopsa Coo is in the Belgian Ardennes, a beautiful hilly part of the country.

I'm glad you enjoyed it. The Coo waterfalls are world famous for Belgians. However, they were not happy with the arrival of Studio 100 when many places that used to be open to view the waterfalls could only be reached by visitors and all tourist shops around the park had to close. Coo has a special atmosphere located in the 'Ardennes' nature region. It was indeed 'Télécoo' from 1989 to 2005. But there was no more money for maintenance of attractions and Studio 100 took it over and gave it a second life. We always make it a full day with forest walks around the park. Not far from this place there are many limestone caves to visit. The most impressive one's in the world. Thanks for giving Coo a try, it indeed has a lot of history.

@@RikFTK No, it used to be but that's now a long time ago. Even the last years of Télécoo it wasn't a pay to ride park anymore. Plopsa tried to do that, but was fast to change it into the system of today.

I have so many fond memories visiting this place when I was just a small kid. Haven't gone back here since then, but watching this I can still recognise some places and it looks gorgeous.

we used to come here with oure children. Lovely parc in the summer. The water, the attractions. Good camping sites around. The Smurf theming is new. Well my kids are older now.

Very impressive small theme park in a beautiful location I would have never thought this was Belgium. The Tobagon ride is one of the best I’ve seen. Brilliant couple of family coasters too. Nice find this park👌

While it doesn't appear on rcdb (as it doesn't have a coaster), there is actually a fourth Plopsa park in Belgium. It's called Plopsa Station Antwerp, because it is literally an indoor theme park inside of Antwerp central train station. It's very different from the other indoor plopsa parks (still very small though, if not smaller) but since they have limited space, the park consists of multiple stories stacked on top of each other. It even has a little dark ride!
We have seen this and it looks very interesting!

A smaller park I'd recommend for a visit is Fort Fun in Germany if you ever get the chance to go. They have a great alpine coaster and a family style Vekoma coaster as well as a mine train coaster all set on beautiful high valleys and hillsides

I love it when you do the smaller parks especially for the first time. I would love to see you do all the Looping Group Parks so we can compare them to the British ones and maybe get an idea of what sort of rides we might get in future at our Looping Group Parks. It would be nice to get charlottes reaction to Bagatelle and Walleygator Parc as those parks were quite querky, i would love to see charlotte trying to ride those funny bikes at Bagatelle.

20:38 Now you are both all set for the Chair Lift in Gatlinburg, TN for the next USA Road Trip to Dollywood and Pigeon Forge, TN. Plopsa Coo Chair lift is similar to the one in Gatlinburg, TN.
We’ll have to give that a go next time!

For the butterfly flatride - if you push and pull the bar at a fairly quick rhythm, it swings like crazy. I was constantly swinging around going sideways, which was hilarious and really fun!

As you were wondering if the little character with the orange dress is Vicky;
It is not, the girl in that orange dress is called Ylva, a friend of Wickie. 'Vicky' is actually the French version of 'Wickie', and since Plopsa Coo is in the french part of Belgium, it is called 'Vicky'.

Great vlog, really enjoyed the views, the location was stunning. I would love to see you return there and do a vlog of the area and the road train and the wildlife park. I bet the views from that hotel are stunning too, id like to see inside there.

Maya Splash? As in, Maya the Bee? If so… WOW!!! I’m in America. Back in the late 80’s, early 90’s. Maya the Bee was one of my favorites! It came on Nickelodeon. If I’m correct, it’s great to see her, still getting some love!
I grew up on the japanese Maya cartoons that were broadcast around world in the 70s and 80s. Studio 100 (Plopsa's owner) has bought the rights to many of these old properties like Maya, Heidi and Wickie the Viking and gave them new life through modern CGI cartoons.

You don't know what you missed on that carousel that goes up and down themed with the butterflies, you can get really freakin insane swings on that thing if you time your ups and downs right, you're missing out on so much

I also loved your vlog on Wetlands Wildlife Park a few years ago, i thought it was a fantastic park it would be interesting to see that one again, i know you missed one of the rides in the Iceland area when you went last time. I always like it when you do the parks that have animals as well.

At 29:15 there's a coin op kids car featuring Charlie Chalk which was a short lived British TV show from the late 80s. How did he end up in rural belgium 40 years later?

Ive veen to this park somewhere around the end of the 80’s or beginning of the 90’s.
I know ik as watervallen van coo (waterfalls of coo). It didn’t have much rides in that time.

Does Vekoma have an MK-1200 "replacement" or is Lech the smallest looping coaster they have? I guess you could they could go for a Hot Racer as those would quite, low maintenance, and not that much of a capacity issue for this park (maybe just be able to run two trains in the summer-feels like a very summery destination)

This park is so tiny but I absolutely love it!
Sad news btw, this park was planning to expand with a new themed area, but then Covid, and then they had major water damage (essentially became a big pool), how unfortunate :(

Amazing park but it feels very small wish they would add more cool coaster to expand it a bit
I think the only remotely recognizable Studio 100 IP in the Anglophonic World is House of Anubis, and at that they would see it as a Nickelodeon property (at least in the US, UK, and Ireland)
