i 100% agree with all except for one thing, if the enemy team is more "bulky" pretty much 3+ bruisers/tanks instead of riftmaker i go for divine sunderer, at 3 items it's either the same or even more dmg, i can link you some tests i did.

i feel like botrk would just be better, then riftmaker just because sunderer seems to fall off really hard imo

imo u can take doran's blade into most matchups just bc those stats + conq help u survive pretty good in lane and gives u decent kill pressure w ignite
dorans blade is useless against long range champ who give u no chance to jump on them. Xerath,ziggs or others

its alright but it needs to be a great BORK game. I don't think its worth it in general as an early game option.
Needs to tick 2 or all 3 of these boxes imo.
- AD early or BORK is very meaningful against your laner (kassadin, galio, or some HP stacker)
- %HP damage is great against enemy team
- You have another AP threat or enemy cannot reliably stack armor.
@@Cocho_Kat yeah like botrk is ok tier i think but like vs galio you just go conqu and don't eat the aftershock (if he play it xd ) but it work too with conqu against champ like short trade i do it vs zed fizz to force them fight me and then i punish them with long lane chase and i sell it for nashor after lichbane and proto

What do you think about opting for Ingenious Hunter? I like using it for the reduced cooldowns on Rocketbelt, Zhonya and trinkets.
ingenious hunter is only a good rune with divine on kat, but i steel prefer move speed or extra gold XD

A Question, though I doubt it’ll be answered.
In regards to items, is there a point where Shadowflame is a good enough PEN item compared to Void Staff? I get that if they stack MR, obv go Void, but consider an enemy team has…like, an Ahri with Banshee’s. I’ve always slept on Void up until recently, but I always prefer having another item compared to the “they built MR” item so I was curious as to if it’s minimal MR if passing up Void is a fair enough call.

The moment they make a magic mantle, then voidstaff is better than shadowflame for damage is a general rule.
But there's 5 people on the enemy team.
If I have 36 magic pen (+5 coming in with mythic passive for any next item) and the enemy has someone with 40 mr (karma), 50mr(ahri), and 100mr(sett). Then I probably just want shadow flame or rabadons.
But if that 100 MR target is fed kaisa who made a MAW, we might not want shadowflame because it will bring us to 51-61mpen and she'll have 39 left. Void would bring her MR down to 19. But it's not as effective on karma or ahri because we have too much mpen. That might be fine though.
Flip that around, maybe kaisa is weak. We'd rather just get shadowflame or rabadons to optimize our damage against everyone. Or get a zhonyas into shadowflame/raba.
In your situation, ahri is generally pretty hard to kill and maybe she's weak because she went out of her way to get banshees. If there's 2 other squishy champs in the game without MR, I'd prob just get Zhonyas or Shadowflame. Rabadons over shadowflame if I back with a lot of gold.
If the enemy champs are likely going to make magic resist because we have too much AP, I'd just skip over shadowflame.

Ad start is really strong but it scales too slow so if you gonna start ad make sure you can kill someone
omg this is so hard like, iam still with kinda trouble when to use Conquer or Electrocute or when build Divine Sunderer or not. Like, when i see on videos everything seems so easy, the guy bvuild whatever he wants, lich bane, divine sunderer etc and stilol stomp the game.

well, i've started to play as katarina like, 1 week so... im still learning and i was main ADC before. so...
hum yeah ok just i would ask i hate playing dark seal i feel like i can't trade and trade back or push fast i just spam doran blade for trade early with electrocute but i have a lot of trouble like before new rune i can only play electrocute after new only conqu and recently i can't play conqu idk why but i int my trade with conqu or idk but realy doran blade not that good on kat bc long sword for me is dead much dmg but 0 regen and same vs zed talon yas they can play safe and behind their waves and you can't regen but what do you go vs this season tank team like orn top jgl mundo mid galio and bot like kalista naut you can't go elec ok but build like rift don't help you much and really for me "tank" build (like i do bami's only ) and rush on build to dps ap and tank i think it's good it's reminds me i see otp kata play before goredrinker kata i try this it was really good for real the heal bait and the regen you get was pretty decent

Either is fine. Just kinda depends.
You'd skip shadowflame and go void staff before rabadons if they are making/have magic resist.
If you go shadow flame then people build a bunch of magic resist, then get voidstaff over rabadons.

Is it bad if I just take conqueror every game?
Meanwhile, the katarina sub constantly asking about random horrendous AD builds or weird hybrid omnivamp focused builds and using some random iron elo game to say "LOOK IT WORKS."
It's amazing how many players are still trying to force AD builds and swearing up and down that ravenous is good on champions that it's not good on.

yeah ravenous get so much nerf but for me divine is still ok vs these cringe tank who one shot every thing but yeah like i get ping when i do lichbane on kata XD like no this item suck (i do not full item first to snowball ) and i go nashor after i end lichbane and go protobelt
i know rocketbelt is better but i am a low elo player and i love night harvester's burst damage also i usually forget to use items active. what would you advice me?
Copy the Rocketbelt build in this video but build Luden's Tempest as your mythic instead lol. You don't get HP but you get a lot of burst still. Likely more the Night Harvester

Yeah it's perfectly fine. Ludens is basically rocketbelt and lich is pretty close to nashor.

@@Cocho_Kat oh boy this luden build haha i use it when they make the delete of gunblade haha i think this item with same amout of ap deal the best dmg vs proto and night (but not sure ) and give you speed too like EW speed of luden to dodge spell and help you catch people too

I’m honestly so confused I’m seeing people build AD Kat and they say it’s good but then the recommended is always ap?
It's just preseason 13 hype mixed with anecdotal evidence. They tried it and popped off in a few games. And its not like bork or sunderer are THAT BAD. They’re just a bit weaker than they could be on kat.
It would probably be good with only AD nerfs or durability update, but not both.
Jaksho and ravenous probably aren't balanced items, but they aren't worth going on kat imo
And for divine sunderer still buildable if yes when?
It's buildable into some matchups where the added durability helps you win fights. And the build path can help you win lane.
Vex and Vlad come to mind, or some melee matchups. but it still has a good chance of being rough if you don't find a lead in lane or off the item spike.
Alright for sidelaning. But not as good as before. Im not super excited to sidelane against Vex, Vlad, Zed, Sylas, or most melees when I have a sunderer and some components lol

Is frostfire worth it?
If its a good tank game, its ok. Like too much AD on the enemy team. If you go Frostfire and you aren't already ahead then its kinda trolling.
The damage it gives is just sheen, it'll be like 100 damage all game. Not a whole lot lol. I'd rather just go AP in most games
@@Cocho_Kat i see some kata player play sunfire nashor and shadow flame and bruh they do really good dmg and they tank so well bc i play kata tank before (when it was good ) but idk if like you are with full dmg team and no tank idk if is worth to go "bruiser" like sunfire divine or rift and nashor demonic or shadowflame like to go in tank and regen but still have big dmg too
