Just in time for Chinese New Year! I've worked on this on-and-off for a couple of months, ever since I got obsessed with this series! As it's a Chinese series/anime, its not as well know, so I made this AMV to spread the good word. Go watch it- its really good!

..... He has a son named A-Yuan. Lan Wangji found A-Yuan while searching for Wei Wuxian's body, and adopted him. I don't know if you read the novel, but I'm pretty sure we meet Lan Yuan in the beginning of the donghua.

Yes. Wei Wuxian adopted him, but then he died, so then Lan Wangji adopted him. How else would gay people in ancient China aquire kids?

I really like this anime, cuz the mc isn't unreasonably overpowered and he's not weak with justice either. Like, I don't really like animes where the mc is just successful throughout the whole story. Or like, when the main character is just saying stuff where no one deserves to die, and is a complete saintess... OH AND TO ADD MORE IT'S A BL LIKE YESS
I recommend you the novel , if you like the spicy scenes, and to understand even some of the minor details that they left out on the animation. Also "the bath tub scene" , "Everyday means everyday", "Phoenix mountain hunt" , "incense burner". *Lenny face* . Also i recommend you to get some tissues during the chapters named "grasses", trust me you'll need it unless you have the heart of a stone
anime is a pale shadow of a novel, to be honest. the plot is compressed, changed for the worse. I advise you to familiarize yourself with the original too, because it is really beautiful

So did Wei Wuxian's soul go off like a bomb when he met his tragic end destroying the Tiger Seal? Very visually stunning. They need to continue the anime and be faithful to the material in terms of relationship with Lan Wanji.
In the original Novel he got a backlash(but we are not sure if it was Before or after destroing the seal) and his army of zombie devored him leaving nothing behind. Pretty gore-y ha? And YES they absolutly need to make another season, I am dying to See the yi city arc animated 😳🤩

@@Diana734 yup ripped to pieces. Some scenes are censored in the anime cuz they are too gory, like the deads of Wen Chao, Wen Zhuliu and Wang Lingjiao. That... Yeah... That was something interesting... 😳🤢
@@Diana734 yeah after his death LWJ went to look for his body/soul but apparently not a scrap of flesh or born was left, not even a small piece of dissipating soul. Nothing. Everything was torn apart and eaten
This is so sad because he never was and never had been evil, he was made to be by someone else. He was given a role that blanketed who he really was and what his true intentions were

Ok this video is FIRE this fit Wei wuxian so much also I wanted to ask I kinda remember this part of anime where there is this child right next to Wei wuxian and Wei wuxian put his hand on top of the child then this lady come and said "let go" or "let's go home" and then Wei wuxian carry the child and I was confused was that his and Lan wanji child?
I really love this story. I've watched the anime, the live action, the side movies untamed: living dead & untamed: fatal journey which if you watch those you'll understand more of the live action show. It's the missing pieces to the story, i have the mangas, the novels, and just preorder the novel in English. They are all on Amazon. Next on my list is the audiobook. I also watched and love Word of Honor. It is similar to this story line and their story is just as heart string pulling as wei ying and lan zanx story.
Oh the anime for those who don't know is called Mo Dao Zu Shi that's the original name for The Untamed
