I know this is kinda late but I have a funny story. Once me and my friend were taking our reborns out to the store together with her parents. Mine is closed eyes and hers is open eyed so this person came up to us and told us it was weird that one of our babies were sleeping and one wasn't. We told her they were dolls and she was so surprised!
Hahaha, weird why she said what she said but it’s funny aha :)

I haven't been taking my reborn doll out much because you can kinda tell it's a doll in her stroller but I'm now starting to put toys and blankets in her stroller:)

Hi Shell. Your toddler is gorgeous and I love your tips. When I'm taking my baby out in the buggy or pram during the summer months (it's winter in the UK at the moment so it's freezing!), I always take a muslin swaddle blanket with me and use a couple of pram/stroller clips to keep it in place when I drape the muslin over the hood. That way no one's looking in and it looks realistic. Thanks for your lovely videos and tips. I especially enjoy your meet ups with your reborn mummy friends xx

I love taking my reborn out i take him everywhere i go. I go downtown shopping with him he lays down in his buggy surrounded by his favourite toys and we go out places and stuff. People always ask me have i had a baby and when i say its just a reborn they are shocked

I stumbled across this video and I think its amazing that these dolls are created for people who long for children but can't have them there so lovely well done
I’m so glad that you are so accepting of different hobbies!
There are also so many other reasons why people have them, doll collecting(me), depression, anxiety, enjoy being around babies but are to old, to young or not ready to have babies - also me), dementia, empty nest syndrome and many more reasons ❤️
But wouldn't having a reborn remind somebody of something they don't have?!
I have an Ashton Drake Doll and another doll (different brand, probably generic) but this is what I think. I don't have children (maybe too old at 38 and single), but I would think that actually pretending to care for them, it wouldn't really be the same since they don't grow up and or they don't have real needs, just saying.
You are right,
Having the read deal is completely different but for some people it helps to fill a hole for a little while.

Sunglasses on an open eyed baby does wonders as long as you can’t see through the lenses the baby looks like it’s asleep works wonders

I get so nervous so I don't take my toddlers out but I take my Laura kit out often. Usually i baby wear or put them in my doona and people will comment sometimes not not Usually negative.
Most people won’t say anything to your face, but I guess there’s the odd chance, most people just leave you on your way ♥️
A few years ago when I took my reborn out to a restaurant I almost dropped him and a guy who was near said to my mom “I was so scared she was gonna drop that little baby”

So, me and my friend were having a sleepover and my mom said we were going to the park down the road on the day she would be going home, but we went to the park 30 mins away and we were at the park with my reborn,Claire. we started to like change her and people thought she was real and then we put her back in the stroller, and people said she looks like a real baby.
Also yesterday I got a car seat!

Where did you by your baby I want to buy one but I don’t know a reliable place to purchase one and you hear about so many scams
Use PayPal, join FB reborn groups and ask people on there if a place your looking at buying from is safe/ screenshots etc or ask for a safe Artist list - ask for a saftey photo (the account name you’re buying from written on paper and in a photo with the baby, if you think it’s too good to be true it is probably a scam!!

Someone please help me!! My 9 year old daughter wants a stroller for her reborn baby but she wants one that looks like a real stroller! They are all so expensive for baby doll strollers! So I’m leaning more towards getting her a stroller like the one in the video! Where would I find it? And can someone recommend a stroller they use that my 9 year old would be able to push without it being to big for her!
Get a second hand one and clean it up, I’m sure she will still love it. Try a Doona. Although they can be pricey even second hand.

You could follow these tips, use a hat, blanket and a dummy but don’t add too many accessories as it will clutter.
