It is a shame that Peteris Vasks remains a relatively unknown composer. However, the same is true for several of the greatest composers. Perhaps someday he will become well-known and highly respected.
When he covered his eyes at one point ( 11:36 ) , I think he seemed horrified that the orchestra and chorus with the aid of the conductor were murdering his composition ?
