Fly Fishing Penns Again, "BACK AND FORTH, FROM NYMPHING TO DRIES"

  • Back out on Penns Creek again, on stream with my buddy Todd from Ohio. We just had a super fun day, fish were feeding all day, underneath and on top., so that's what we did. We fished back and forth from nymphing to dries, changing our tactics according to how the fish were feeding. You got to be versatile and adapt to what's going on with the fish, pay attention and try to pick up on what and how they're feeding, then make the necessary adjustments.

Oh man! Thank you very much for the kind words. Honestly, I always felt, presenting a mayfly was much easier than a caddis, most times the fish are taking the caddis emerger, but sometimes we get lucky if they’re taking the still adult on top, but that’s usually NOT the case. Thankfully this day, the fish were cooperative with our patterns and presentations. Also tyed me up some more of the double troubles. Appreciate you watching and commenting.
