I love My husband. We got married July 3rd of this year. My grandma and grandpa were married for nearly 50 years. They never parted. They never cheated or gave up. My brother and his wife have been together for 25 years. They disagreed, his wife cheated once and he did back to her but they forgave. They raised 2 kids together and are still raising the other two. It wasn't easy for them as my grandparents but they make it work every single day. Love isn't always easy or picture perfect. It's compromise and effort to. In me and my husband's case it's putting God first because a godly marriage is comparable to Jesus christ and the church. The wife is like the church and the husband is like Jesus.
The "old folks" tell you communication is key! But they don't tell you how long it took them to figure it out. No relationship is perfect all the time but at the end of the day, your person is your person. There's a difference between having love for someone and being in love with someone. Stay in love 🖤 Ps you two are beautiful. And I love your dog!
I've been married for 36 years. Communication is the golden rule to life. Speak of likes and dislikes. And if along the line you find something irritating, say something. If you enjoy something a lot , say something. Most people are not mind readers. Never assume they know or understand. Talk it out with each other. Love, support, and understanding. Marriage is a partnership. Work through it together, side by side. Always go through the other one before making a decision. Tell them I have to discuss it with my business partner. Keep one night a week as date night. Love, care, and compassion, but most of all understanding.

One thing I can say that you might hear or have heard over and over again: always work out disagreements or arguments that you have with each other together, and dont go to bed mad at one another for a fight you may have had.
