- Many celebrities in today's age are multi-talented, larger than life figures, capable of doing just about anything they set their minds, and checkbooks to. From traveling the world, to obscure athletic feats, the list of talents can be quite large, and some cases, pointless. However, there are a handful of household names that partake in our favorite past time, film photography. From rockstars, to actors, and everything In between, in this video, we're covering some of the best work coming from already famous people.
Is there someone on the list you think I missed? Let me know down in the comments below!

Ringo Starr is the GOAT when it comes to photographing the behind the scenes of what it's like to be bigger than life. His photos capture the mundane moments of the Beatles and allow the four boys to be humanized. Excellent stuff by Ringo!
Imagine exploring an abaonded spot with your friends and run into Cole Sprouse
Hahaha, that would be so legendary!!
Had this exact thing happen at salvation mountain few years back !
Exploring abandoned spot with your friends and run into Ben from Friends LOL
That would be cool, but most of the time i run into people having seggs
Respect to all these people. Honestly didnt expect much but a good majority of these photos are great with their own style and personality imposed on the photos
Absolutely love this video. As a model and photographer myself I love showing people that you can do more than one craft. 💮✨
Thanks for watching the video, glad you enjoyed!
This video is a great Leica ad. Joking! The pictures done by Cole Sprouse are phenomenal!
Hahaha might as well have been, after how much these dudes drool over leicas lol
Great vid. I really appreciate your work. ✌🏼
Thanks for watching
Jason Momoa, Jessica Lange, Leonard Nimoy, Brad Pitt, and Stanley Kubrick to name a few others.
Great video! An interesting watch for sure. Cheers
Thanks for checking it out!

wow i didnt know she was a photogrpaher
Loved this video!
Glad you liked it!!
I love the fact that while you were telling "many celebrities in today's world are multi-talented" and you put footage of J-lo making a tea 😂
great video keaton
Thanks homie, appreciate you watching!
I seen the lee video last month its awesome
There are a few others: Dennis Hopper, Leonard Nemoy, Victory Tischler Blue (The Runaways bass guitarist), and more
Is there someone on the list you think I missed? Let me know, comment below!
Sadly passed away you have Leonard Nimoy and Roddy McDowall who were both well known for their photography. Very much alive you have Bryan Adams, who maybe the most successful current celebrity who is also a photographer,
Brian Adams?
Dennis Hopper
Leonard Nimoy
Helena Christensen
I can relate to Jason Lee, so much to see and photograph in the USA.
Agreed, my favorite thing is taking my time with roadtrips and making some photos.
@@metalfingersfilm me three, I do that every year going to TX towns.
Andy Summers of the Police is a brilliant photographer who documented the whole of The Police's career. The documentary about him is well worth tracking down (Can't Stand Losing You).
Would love to see this channel evolve out of the "top ten" list style videos and present more of your own work or creative style videos man! you've got hella potential I just think u might be wasting it on these copy and paste style videos lol! This video would have been a serious banger if you took these techniques into your own work and showed some inspired photos!
agreed homie; however in Wisconsin, it gets super tough to shoot in the winter months, and am bound a lot by that sadly, soon it'll be warming up and I'll be getting out on adventures and taking more of my own photos! I have some trips already planned out, so definitely stay tuned!! Appreciate the support @Rat man
Former pitcher Randy Johnson and current pitcher for the Mets Adam Ottavino are both photographers
i watched so much of that show as a kid that i know for sure 5:16 is Zack (Dylan); unless it’s the episode where they swap.
ps-i _loved_ this video
huh, I coulda swore I had it right, lol
Thanks for watching!
Jeff Garlin, should be on this list. Honorable mention to Nick Zinner, the guitar player for the Yeah Yeah Yeahs.
Thanks for the additions, Michael!
i'm stupid and had no idea frank ocean shot that stuff himself on the contax3. that's fucking dope
What camera is in the thumbnail?
If these people aren't celebrities, then most of them probably would remain as an unknown, similar to an undiscovered Vivian Maier. No doubt there are thousands, if not millions of them throughout the decades.
For instance, the gallery owner who re-discovered Fan Ho (enthusiast photographer, Asian actor, director) after he retired at the States, who was already a master photographer 3-4 decades earlier (>200 awards & named twice as the world best) and asked him "Are you a photographer?" during their first encounter. 🙂
Woah, do you have any more info on this? Sounds really intriguing
@@metalfingersfilm This was a chance meeting with Mark Pinsukanjana, co-owner Modernbook Gallery in Palo Alto after Fan Ho (dubbed as the Henri Cartier-Bresson of the East) after he retired in California. As a result, he gained more exposure in the West and now there is plenty info on the Internet. As well, there is a good intro video at 'The Art of Photography' channel.
Winona Ryder is a good person to add to celebrity photographers.
+1
How could forget Dennis Hopper. He’s the best.
Hmm I'm sensing a part two may be necessary
aston kurtcher, Leonard nemoy.
Winona Ryder is also a published photographer.
So many people I missed, maybe I'll make a pt. 2!
Zach Bryan also shoots film i believe, and makes amazing music!
John "Bermuda" Schwartz (Weird Al's drummer)
Andy Summers (guitarist for The Police)
Tony Levin (Bassist for Peter Gabriel)
Karl Largerfeld (fashion Designer)
But then if I feel like I have to write who they are, maybe they're not famous enough.
Hahaha, all good additions!!
Karl Lagerfeld used a GA645zi.
No Andy summers? 😢
Viggo Mortensen, Seal, Dennis Hopper
ohhh great recommendations!
Great vid but where's Winona Ryder?
👀👀
Lenny Kravitz came 1989 so over 30 years and sold over 40 millions..you got to get it right! And Kravitz Design has done 2 leicca cameras..one he is using in your piece. He has a book out called Flash!!
The Pride of Lenny Kravitz
Dennis Hopper
Jessica Lange is also a wonderful photographer, T Hopper is one of my favorite creators as well
Christie Brinkley, boxing. Heath Ledger
Check out Andy Summers
Seal, Jason Mamoa and Jeff Garlin are all Leica enthusiasts.
Ahhh yes, I forgot about those guys!
yet we havent seen any notable contribution from kylie cardassian, except raise up the prices of contax T2
😀
:)
Another Celebrity who's deep into photography is DJ DNice (rapper and DJ from the 90s)...
I feel like a massive opportunity was missed by not putting Nikki Sixx in the #6 slot.
Haha, touche.
Can't forget Bryan Adams either
yes I'm 100% for scripted educational videos!
Awesome! Thanks Jozef!!
Helena Christensen is good
Kenny Rogers
Stewart Copeland is great, as was Kenny ROgers
Stanley Kubrick
Rian Johnson takes some dope photos. But I guess you couldn’t really all him a celebrity.
Brayn adams
huh, never heard of this guy, haha
While they are great photographers, the only reason they are successful and recognized for it is because of who they are. There are many great photographers out there who do not have that ability because no one cares who they are.
I would probably be inclined to agree. So much discipline and business savviness must ensue to really make it as a photographer.
8:58 you don't gaze through the lens of a T3! you look through a viewfinder, quite separate from the lens.
it was a play on words for Frank ocean. He has a single called “lens” 😂
You missed Julian Lennon
This is more about whose behind instead of in front of the lens from the slim pickings I'm viewing here. They all have entry, access and travel at their disposal, say a lot, but show little. Bridges stuff is fun but a gimmick, Sprouse displays some provocative work but the rest leave me wanting. No lessons learned from these "celebs" here, unless Jeff wants to loan me his camera for awhile.
It's amazing what doors opened for them once they all became Scientologists...
Jason Lee's work is kinda mid though. His compositions are meh
Jlo has no talent.
Dennis Hopper
Yeah definitely missed Dennis hopper in this one!
