  • I bought a Quickjack BL-7000SLX that failed to lift after the first 3 tries. Needless to say, I was highly disappointed. Unfortunately, I do not have the time or patience to troubleshoot a Quickjack that doesn't work right. I contacted customer service and was unable to fix the lift. This is my honest review of the product.

    Sorry we couldn't make the QuickJack work for you. Usually when a customer is having trouble with the QuickJack, we ask them to perform a few troubleshooting procedures because often times it's a simple solution. If we don't come to a solution, then replacement parts are shipped immediately. In your case, the pressure relief value may have needed to be adjusted. Also, we do test each power unit and hydraulic cylinder before shipping, so that is why those elements are pre-filled with hydraulic fluid. Best of luck and sorry again!

      QuickJack, I am a little confused, did you or did you not help this customer get his jack operational?

      @@JCSPHD The customer decided to get a refund rather than changing the relief valve with QJ-supplied part and guidance. Sounds like great customer service to me based on the customer’s personal decision to return the systm.

    They go up great, they Just don't go down so great. Been using them for over a year with mixed results. They work, but don't always come down. Now, they go up at the same time, but only one lowers. Performed all the "troubleshooting (air cylinders are equal; re-blead the the air out, switched hoses and ports; switched ports top and bottom connector). One side works great, the other is stuck in between the fully closed and the first stop. It won't budge. Hopefully customer service will help, but of course, I am out of the 1 year warranty. I hope this won't be a $1300 buyers remorse case. NOTE: Quickjack, if you read this, and make this right, I will happily repost with a "they took care of me" update to this comment.

    I'm having the same issue but with only one port on the pump. One jack will raise but the other won't. I switched lines on the pump and the problem stays with the same port. QJ customer service has been trying to help so far. After I sent a trouble ticket through their website they a rep actually called me and discussed checking the power diverter valve. They even emailed me instructions. Unfortunately, it hasn't fixed the problem.
    I bought it when it was one sale but was building my garage so didn't get to use it for a while. When the garage was done and I put the QJ together it worked great.....twice. Then on the third time using it I experienced the problem. Mine fluid tank was empty when I got it so I don't think it was a returned unit. Now the QJ is out of warranty so I'm probably going to take the power unit apart and see if I can fix it. I don't want to throw away over $1K piece of equipment. 😟

    I think you just had bad luck with the one you got. Like somebody said maybe it was returned to Costco already and they had put the wrong fluid in it. I got one from Costco - super happy with it. You should try buying one again. I bet you have no issues the second time.

    That’s a bummer dude, those jacks are solid.

    Mine did not arrive with any fluid in the unit at all. So really surprised yours had fluid in it. And the fact you got it from Costco all seems suspect of a bad return by someone else and it got back into circulation some how. I know proper bleeding of the valves is critical. When I got mine, I was considering the QuickJack and the KwikLift ramps. I liked the idea of the KwikLift ramps as there is nothing mechanical to break down, you only need a good floor jack. Cost was about the same. My only problem with the KwiKLift is the space, I just don't have the space for them as they are very large in comparison. As far as moving he QuickJack around, there is a mod to add wheels, something I am doing this week. They are crazy heavy and hard to slide under a vehicle. SO the wheel mod is kinda a must have for me and my bad knees and back. Hey QuickJack, are you listening????

    I think the product was to heavy and you simply had buyers remorse. I did this with my HF Daytona Jack. The Jack is super heavy and I constantly have to brace myself just to lift it.

      The weight was only a real problem when unpacking and repacking for shipment. I would have stored everything on the ground close to where they would have been used. If it had worked, I would certainly had been happy with it.

    Cant see too well from the video, but is the pressure relief valve on the fluid reservoir open?

    The problem is their warranty sucks. I’ve had fittings leak and of course mine is out of warranty. I’ll replace the fitting and sell it. I don’t feel safe under that thing.

    Did you lay it on its side and prime it?

    • @SawdustSquad
      @SawdustSquad  Před 3 lety +1

      I tried all of the ways. I lifted the ends, stood them up, laid them on the sides. No luck with any orientation.

    • @jshan8205
      @jshan8205 Před 3 lety

      No i meant lay the pump on its side to prime it. Lay it on its side pull pressure relief valve. Take rag put over thumb stick in it . Bump up button a few times and see if fluid shoots your finger out. Once fluid comes out reinstall pressure relief valve and then try. Raise both ends of cylinder with bleed screw off the ground ( wheel end ). And bleed it good undo bleed screw and hit up and see if fluid is making it to cylinder.
