      Exactly. The universe as we know it today may change and we may cease to exist from the change but the universe will remain.

    the only way to see the possibility to test if universe can be destroyed, is by sending small light weight object in space in all direction in a series. the more distance it will go, the more memory it will demand, more area to render which might cause at one stage a kind of memory freeze and force this simulation to exit.

      Look up Planck length and time. Pixels and clock speed of the universe basically. Anything beyond that (smaller) and it turns into a black hole then immediately disappears, blinks out of existence.

    Based on the current evidence, the big freeze AKA a universe that will expand forever, is the most likely outcome.

    • @nexusdrop7863
      @nexusdrop7863 Před rokem

      Based on current evidence they have no idea what is happening. Dark energy is called that because no one knows what it is. Until that is solved any guesses are just a few limited images extrapolated into a full movie.

    • @KingBritish
      @KingBritish Před rokem

      @@nexusdrop7863 No, current evidence suggests the big freeze. Google it. If dark energy wins the battle over gravity, which is currently is, the big freeze IS the answer.

    • @nexusdrop7863
      @nexusdrop7863 Před rokem

      @@KingBritish If dark energy keeps increasing it rips the universe. Big freeze (heat death) is just stuff spreading out. Dark E is supposed to start affecting the tiniest parts of space to the point space itself rips. Not really sure what that means in a practical sense but it is kind of like vacuum decay (lower energy point) in the sense that the universe changes completely. That is if Dark E keeps increasing.
      Also, they are not sure if there will be spontaneous bursts of stuff, quantum physics shenanigans. If there is so little (empty space) SOMETHING might pop into existence.

    • @KingBritish
      @KingBritish Před rokem

      @@nexusdrop7863 Yes that is all true and of course I didn't say the big freeze is definite but my original post is correct in that it is the most likely of all the options based on the information we currently have. Two things indicate that the fate of the universe is the big freeze. 1 if the universe is flat which I think you'll agree is extremely likely and again what our current knowledge strongly points to, or if dark energy is a cosmological constant. If either of those are true, the universe will expand forever, no rip, no big bounce, but a big freeze aka heat death. The universe will live forever but everything in it will fade away. This is why I said based on our current evidence, the big freeze absolutely is the most likely outcome for the universe. We are 99% of the way there into proving the universe is flat. That means a big freeze, now if we can prove that the speed of dark energy stays the same, that too means a big freeze. However If the speed of dark energy increases that would mean a big rip. Current evidence doesn't support that dark energy is speeding up. All current signs point towards heat death.

    • @KingBritish
      @KingBritish Před rokem

      @@nexusdrop7863 So as you said "if dark energy keeps increasing". It isn't increasing based on what we know so far. If it does then yes, a big rip is where we'll be heading. Our observations are that dark energy density is not over the critical amount to result in a big rip. I have to say I'd be happy if the big freeze is the fate of our universe. Its the best outcome. It gives us the most time possible out of all the options.
