@@vimto2838 I never said it's a bad game, I was joking about how infuriating this quest was because there was almost no instructions for it. Also, Mihoyo (or Hoyoverse now) are the devs the name of the game is Genshin.
@@exiledkenkaneki701 yes, ema did give the player the hints needed... but it'll be much better if those hints also written or updated to the player journal/quest log like any "good" rpg game so that the player need not to return to the quest giver asking for basically the same hints, moreover if there are no quest markers.
And I won't say it is well designed quest, it just your typical errand quest... go there, pick this for me, then return.

so yeah after 13 hours i finally figured out the sequence all of those who said 1-2-3-4-5 are wrong it's not even 2-1-3-4-5 (most guide channels showed)
so i think the devs updated the sequence in patches based on my trial and error the new sequnce is 2-1-5-4-3.

I would like to point out on my overseas account my First try (because it seems like a pretty obvious answer) it actually was 1-5. On my En account 1-5 did not work and 2 1 5 4 3 did.

If you already did the Serpent's heart puzzle and got the chest but want the In The Light Beneath the Shadows book, do the puzzle in Dainichi Mikoshi and use that Hint on the wall rather than the ones found in the temple floor in the Serpent's heart

@@huypham8083 yeah the thing that the devs dont realise is that almost no one follows the story of this game, especially the world quests. So unless it’s marked in blue, most people wont get the hint

Guys if you want the fourth book you need to do the order of the symbols at the wall in the hidden place in Dainichi Misohi. Hope this helps :)

How did you even know where to go for the books. Ema says to start with the suspects in prison, and mentions Date and and his mazes. Outside of the suspects, I had no clue as to where to begin to look to find the others.
Yeah I know right. And nobody cares 😭 all they care about is getting the quest done.
What I wanted to know was how they knew where to start looking in the first place.

I aleady hate relying on CZcams for answers when playing a game, especially one I enjoy playing as much as this one. But when it comes to certain missions that give you absolutely no clues and is just a find it when you find it wild goose chase, it really just annoys me. Even when it's not EXACT directions but at least give me a broad clue. Dont tell me something like, it's in an area that I have 98% discovered🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️

Looks like a glitch, I've got to the final place where you were supposed to get the book after solving the 5 symbols and I did this the opposite way, I guess that's the issue, I had to uncover and activate the first symbols on the wall inside the ruin behind that Ruin Guard that was sitting beside those barrels

I think if you try all of the possible patterns (that you find on the walls from solving puzzles) you should get an additional chest which fixes the bug and lets you talk to ema

@@Yun5890 yeah I did, you’ve just got to do all of the different patterns that you find from puzzles around the map
You just do the patters with the mechanism at 16:45 and one of them should give you the last book

Both islands are unlocked by another world quest found near the upper left waypoint at the Serpent’s Heart (16:35).
I don’t know the requirements, but it popped up after I nabbed the 4th book. Hope this helps!

Guys at the end of task, go through the mirror and follow seelie to unlock 1 chest, also in the mirror worldthere is another luxurious chest, don't forget to get the same. Happy gaming!!
