I find it interesting that so many of the people (not all) that are upset about "Captain America being black" aren't even comics fans themselves. If they were, they'd realize that comics do this _all_ the time.

You see the movies presentation of how they presented the characater transitioning into Captian America vs the comic book transition of the character are vastly different.
It made sense making Falcon captain America in Endgame. People are so agro about it not being bucky, forgetting that bucky was an assassin who's killed hundreds of people and word leaders. It wouldn't make sense to make him captain america after everything he did. While Falcon was a war veteran who served his life trying to protect the people in one way or another and was a patriotic honest and courageous man with a "good heart". I get some people don't like Falcon, but it doesn't mean he won't make a good Captain America
It’s not just that he was an assassin that makes Bucky not the right person to pass the shield to. Every time he goes to war, it takes something from him, whether it’s his mind, his body, or even his life. We only ever see him happy when he’s living a simple life. He’s the unwilling soldier of the MCU. Turning him into Captain America would just be drafting him into another war with no end.

@@angelaphsiao yupp, but Steve also knew that Bucky is tired of war and its time for him to live a normal life and give the spotlight to Sam Wilson. Steve only wanted his best friend to rest because just like Steve in CATWS, he never get to live his life too. Sam has a lot of Captain America material in his personality, Bucky too has what it takes to become Captain America but Steve still choose Falcon. When we look at the scene in The Winter Soldier, Steve went to Sam Wilson and he heard him giving other people some motivation, advice, etc. And Steve continues Sam's job in Endgame if we look at the scene where the Directors cast themselves to share some personal experiences. And if we look at the end of CATWS, Steve said "You don't have to come with me" and Sam replied "I know... So when do we start?" that's a man who is willing to help even if Steve said he doesn't have to, he laylo at his job and focused on helping Steve find Bucky and being a member of the Avengers. So that's what I thought why Steve choose him instead of Bucky. And that's good, very good.

i like it. Captain America is so much more than Steve Rogers right now. Captain America is a symbol. And even though Steve is irreplaceable, i bet Sam will do a good job. And obviously Steve will be Caps again some day but for now i want to see what will Sam do as the new Caps

I usually don't like new versions of characters, but Falc as Cap is perfectly fine with me!
They need to give him another name. The fact that he is using Roger's name is sending unease to some of the more purist fans. Maybe he should change his name from Falcon to Eagle or something. But this is really cool. It is like combining two different superpowers being his shield and wings. I just wish they show Rogers training Wilson how to use the shield. Remember Civil War? Stark said that 7 highly trained SHIELD agents got sent to the hospital after trying to use it.
+Yi Long Zen He was calling himself Steve Rogers? Unless you mean Captain America is a name that is exclusive to Steve Rogers. Because really it's not. Like 9 or 10 other people have held his title for various lengths of time including Bucky. even more if you include Steve's Revolutionary War ancestor and the original black Captain America Isaiah Bradley.
He's fine bruh don't get butthurt because he's not the original. you need to understand that he is captain america next in line and his name should stay just like miles morales.

So basically Capt America (Steve) back to the past to return all the infinity stones. While he doing the time travel thing, he visits Peggy in '45 to fulfill his promise, to dance.
And i think capt somehow fight a villain (Maybe iron nail, or other tragedy) so his serum is gone and he become old

Cap still ages even with the serum. In the MCU at that point, he's 105 years. Depending on what year he went back, he added about 70 years to his life

@@yesitsme5882 because in the winter soldier program, after they use bucky for a couple of days to kill whoever, they freeze him after he completed his mission.
So he's been frozen, unfrozen to kill, and frozen back again for 70 years. So maybe he's been unfrozen for a total of ~5-10 years for mission time, so we can probably say he's only aged ~5-10 years more than steve, he'll be around his 40s, just a few years older than sebastian stan actually is, so there's no need for prosthetic makeup for that little of an age gap. He's aged more, but not enough for it to be noticeable.
But also, Bucky and Steve don't have the *exact* serum, the last true super soldier serum was destroyed when Erskine was killed by the hydra agent. Bucky's serum was created by Zola and his scientists, the same one used on the frozen soldiers in Civil War. So aging by be different or not.

Falcon has been a good character in the movies (Anthony is great, very charismatic and more talented than we could see in the movies). It does not bother me that he be the new Captain America. Even though, I would love to see him with superpowers. Maybe, the reality of Black Panther was slightly modified after they restore the world and the heart-shaped herb could give Sam some super-powers? Could that work? LOL
WOW! If ever the Marvel Cinematic Universe will ever replace Steve Rogers as Captain America, I won't mind at all if it's Falcon.

Vibranium. We've seen Steve Rogers block many, many explosion with his tiny shield. Falcon simply did the same with his wings. The only difference is that he went unconscious after the explosion and would've went "splat" if it wasn't for Iron Man. Steve Rogers would've blocked it with his shield and took the force to the face and walk away like a mob didn't just go off in his face.

Falcon had no build up to becoming Captain America
In all of the Cap movies Bucky Barnes was the most important character to Steve Rogers. Cap’s whole trilogy literally revolves around his relationship with Bucky Barnes. In that trilogy you see Bucky grow and evolve has a character and even holds Cap shield multiple times in his films. Hell, in Civil War he was using it with Steve Rogers to battle Tony.
Falcon on the other hand, only developed in Winter Solider and was just playing sidekick in the movies after.
It’s like the writers literally changed their minds about Bucky becoming back and just gave it to Falcon.
I like Falcon’s character but it’s very disappointing that he is becoming Captain America when it’s not even earned.

He wont be able to throw the shield and bring it back. Steve Rodgers was able to do that bcuz of the Super Soldier Serum supercharging his brain, allowing him to calculate different angles and trajectories to make it bounce back.

Patrick Goh there was this event in which good guys and bad guys became evil and good respectively, which marvel advertised as those characters not going just evil like in a cartoon. And the villains not becoming goodie two shoes. And apart from Hobgoblin and Carnage they totally lied about that.
The event all in all was terrible and the only good thing we got out of it, is Hobgoblin's mini series which I suggest you read.

Ethan Fisher all of the crisis events, pretty much. They were all a giant mess. Bat through time was particularly blegh as well.
I always thought that Superman throwing the big cellophane S trap in Superman 2 was an illusion to distract Zod, Non, and Ursa. Similar to Jor-El's hologram, the Fortress of Solitude projected it. Just my thought from me as a kid watching.
So... I kinda have a theory, assuming the comic book writers want Steve as cap again.. Sam, Sooner or later will most likely be killed off.. You know how Writers are. and I see Sam dying heroically. This motivates Steve to try and find a way to get the Super Soldier Serum, back into his body. Some how, he and the other avengers find a way and he becames well strong again. However, He will not be young like he was. He will remain an old man on the outside, But inside he will be well.. Cap. He leads the avengers till he actually is killed off. Which like Sam. I see him dying heroically.
.I love cap. He is one of my favorite characters in comics and always has been. (Next to spidy and wolverine.) And Whether it's Steve, Bucky, Or Sam. I will accept them.. Shit, give us a female cap now!
