11:00 Miss lethal explanation for papayas Rake on the 7/7 it is formidable and fated, so its goes to 10/9 plus impact = 10 damage, it challenges the minion so -2 damage but we still have overwhelm so we are dealing 8 dmg, BuT Bird is free to atack so formidable +3 dmg so 11 dmg to nexu doing exact lethal. Miss lethal soo painful Papapya lord is still in denial. GGs Grapplr,
In the first game assuming the opponent didn’t play Nora to block, you did miss lethal. The void monster would have gone to 9 health with the weapon which means 7 points of overwhelm damage plus 1 from impact plus the broad wing damage of 3 would equal 11.
I was using this deck with some slight variations, 1 off J4 and some combat tricks insted of the 7 drops. Got 10 win streak, and it is the coolest deck I've played since I returned to LoR! Got +/- 150 lp in masters having so much fun!
7damage-> rake adds 1 bcs of formidable-> fated +1->impact+1=10 damage. Challenge the 2/2 portalguy with abomination and attack with the bird=8 damage from abomination (10-2)+Bird hits for 3= its 11 damage misslethal
You did miss lethal in that first game. If you would've done everything exactly the same but equipped void abomination instead, fated would give you the last 1 damage needed. The math is: abomination has 9 health formidable, pulls an unit with 2 health, deals 7 damage because of overwhelm, +1 because of impact, bird hits for 3. 7+1+3=11 Enemy has 11 hp. 11-11=0 You win.
@@reshiwashere Then he would've pulled Nora and enemy wouldn't have lethal next turn. Besides, in that case the opponent could've played her this turn either way, whether he equipped the broadwing or the abomination.
@@strongerthanever2039 Let's break your statement by the two separate sentences. first off you claimed he missed lethal in that first game, hence I disproved you and now you're bringing up that the enemy wouldn't have lethaled? Whether or not he could've lethaled is besides the point because that's something that can't be proven or disproven unless we knew what his hand and portal was going to be. I can probably argue with the fact that he's a norra deck with three unknown cards in hand and a portal that was triggering that could've been any 1-3 drop (cause norra would've died if she blocked and not spawned the fae) but that is irrelevant to the point. You realize the reason the opponent didn't play norra "whether he equipped the broadwing or the abomination" was because it wasn't lethal and didn't want his norra challengered. He didn't need to play his most valuable card (level 2 norra) if he wasn't going to die. So yes he "could've" played it that turn either way but there was no need to until after grapp lost his attack token.
I think Garen would be cooler if his levelup gave your nexus "Round Start: Rally" He would obvioulsy have to be nerfed in some way, like maybe 4/5 and levels after having struck thrice or something
I think it should be: Round Start: if you have the Attack token, give allies 1|1 this round. If you don’t, Rally. It feels so clunky to level him on a defense turn and then have his ability be completely wasted
Another way he missed lethal on the first game, if in the first atack joraal challengers 2/2 instead of 2/1 on the second attack he could have challenger the conchologist and deal 1 more dmg with overwhelm
I assume in this scenario joraal has the rake? If so then they can just play norra to chump the broadwing and minimorph their conchologist or otterpuss and block the abom. 8 from first swing with abom and then 6 from joraal and thats assuming their for some reason block broadwing instead of joraal.
He doesn't miss lethal in the 1st game due to formidable. Equipment gets him to 10 power + impact and fearsome secures the win but due to formidable he's dealing 10 damage which still leaves the opponent at 1 hp.
Thing is Grapp was in denial and dead wrong. 7/7 + rake = 10/9 after fated, with OVERWHELM, and a 0/3 bird. -2 from opponent's blocker that you challenger with the 10/9 deals 7 damage + 1 from fated + 3 from bird = 11 damage. Grapp missed lethal.
@@fftgamer True. If he had taken this line he would've probably forced the opponent to develop the Norra as well so he could've survived the next turn.
Everyone talking about missing lethal for no equip, when the fact is that he could attack twice with no fearsome blocker and for some reason he challenger a unit...
it is a scout! if u gave him the weapon the turn before last u would've hit him for 9 both times as a scout Even if he used minimorph to block u u get 3 units for second attack
First of all this is the most hindsight harry thing i have ever read. And secondly that doesn’t even work. Lets take what we know. The opponent had both minimorph and norra on that turn. Assuming we gave the rake the the abomination and best case scenario the opponent had nothing else besides those two cards in hand, the void abom solo pulls the otterpuss. Lets assume they choose to nor minimorph their own unit like they did and grap hits for 9 (8 from overwhelm one from impact). They play a blocker (lets say norra cause its the only known card) and grapp plays broadwing. Grapp has a 9 hp formidable impact abom, a jaroll or however its spelt and a broadwing. Opponent has norra, junk, and the 2/1 whos name i forgot. He pulls in the 2/1 and opens attack. They minimorph and chump the other two. Lethal avoided.
It's a 1 hp unit, he had overwhelm and he didn't have lethal this attack, so it's better to kill one more unit so they have less units to defend later on ( for example Joraal, who doesn't have overwhelm)
Everyone talking about miss lethal but why everyone don't talking about "why the opponent don't play norra to block?" Because that 10damage is not lethal if grapplr give weapon to abomination than opponents just play norra and next turn just play card that can deal 1damage like impact unit or something (My eng is too bad)
