Sir I wanted to install lan cable but unfortunately not compatible with my 5g chromebook. I need internet with good speed for normal personal use and work from home purpose, range is not 1st priority as I work on same desk. Do i have to invest in dual band? I onlybuse 1 laptop at a time and 1 mobile, thats it.

for 60gb broadband internet, BSNL technician is suggesting "optic fiber ONT dual band modem" for which they charge Rs.3500, can you suggest some good/economical dual band ONT modem
Better take any local ISP , if their reviews are good in your area. Because if there is some technical fault , they take like eternity to bring it up and working. Be it Airtel, Jio or BSNL
Railwire also provides Syrotech G/EPON router and this is a pathetic ONU cum router, should be avoided at any cost. Go with media converter and a good branded router.

Hi, i checked out your video but there's not any mention of Telephone port. Actually am having only BSNL FTTH network in my area & my ISP i.e) BSNL fiber Contractor is pushing me for their modem router only by saying that,"You can't connect telephone to router's purchased on e-commerce websites".
Please do help me in selecting a ModemRouter for BSNL FTTH along with telephone port.

@@TaknikiSamaan Actually there's some sort of ambiguity in my area Airtel xtreme website & vendors are saying we are yet to expand in your area but One my neighbour is using Airtel extreme since 6~7 months just he added that he got charged 5000₹ for airtel xtreme (i guess he might be charged for wire which might not be present nearby)
Anyways I had taken contact number of neighbour's airtel vendor & contact him (side by side contact those vendors also who said airtel will expand in 3~4 months to crossfy installation charges)
As of now am considering airtel vendor might charge 3~4k or might install free of cost (6 months plan)

dual band routers are also useful for low latency task; Like remote access; online gaming etc. Dual band router can also help in location with multile devices using wifi for less congesion and responsive network. We should alway prefer a dual band router if we can afford. Moreover for basic streaming on limited devices you can go for 2.4ghz routers. What is media converter. you cud say a modem orr onu or optical modem

Even though you have a slower internet connection like 30-40 Mbps, still, you should get a Dual band router because in single band router, data clogging is unbearable. The speed is very unstable in single band routers.
