I still don't see how we got through over 100 years of professional wrestling without Lucha Underground. These last few months without it felt like a lifetime. THERE'S A LIGHT AT THE END OF THE TUNNEL GUYS!!!
Besides NXT, Lucha Underground is the only truly exciting, innovative, appointment TV product in wrestling right now. TNA, WWE, ROH, etc. all take a backseat to this show.
+Captain Subpar I mean NXT is solid, but it no longer feels as "must-watch" as it did in 2014. The Takeover shows are obviously pretty great most of the time, but LU weekly blows everything out of the water. It's a show that doesn't patronise its viewers and instead celebrates wrestling and lucha libre. Unlike WWE which is flat out _embarrassed_ of even the _word_ "wrestling".

The little I've seen of Lucha Underground makes it feel like this is what Vince would have loved to make. A wrestling show mixed with a tv-show, except it's lucha libre of course, but you get my point.

Early 2015 is when I started to watch Lucha Underground full-time every week until March 2016. I didn't watch L.U. from April 2016 until I once again got El Rey Network beginning in October 2016 (though I did watch L.U. online for free).
I don't watch today's WWE anymore because WWE is now a kiddie show (and still is), I still watch TNA though TNA is not doing too well, I began watching Ring of Honor in the summer of 2016 when I found out KTXD channel 47 in Dallas is airing it on Saturday afternoons.
Lucha Underground on the other hand, is awesome. Way more awesome than today's WWE and more awesome than today's TNA.
We need Lucha Underground back AEW just isn't it. Now most you named like ROH and LU isn't even around anymore. Some say WWE has gotten better but they need legit competition still.

OMG LUCHA UNDERGROUND!!!!!!! is the BEST
WWE screwed up by releasing Striker. I liked his commentary. Always got me excited for the matches and he provided some additional psychology about the wrestlers applying the moves. Now you got commentators (except Mauro) who cannot even call the moves.

The thing that strikes me is that they actually redid one of the worst angles of all time, the higher power.
Dont compare lucha underground with other wrestling programs e.g. ROH, WWE, NXT, TNA, etc. These are two completely different things.
Tna is a wwe wannabe... Wwe is awsome as of lately , nxt is awsome as well in its own lane, roh is its in its own lane... Tna is just garbage, LU is great in its own right

Stop talking shit about TNA. Yes, I know TNA is not doing well nowadays due to bad decisions Dixie Carter is making, but TNA was awesome back in the mid-2000s when it had it's own identity and was an alternative to WWE. WWE hasn't been awesome since the Ruthless Aggression era, WWE still sucks since it's still kiddie entertainment since the summer of 2008.

+Nicklas Mudymba i may be american but in wcw Vamp was one of my favorites. in AAA (when i used to watch it) i looked for Vampiro. even in AAA: Heroes Del Ring, Vampiro was the first person i played as. Seeing Vampiro returning to his inner darkness is awesome but kinda wish he had his long hair again :/

Matt Striker always come across like he's reading a script and sounds so fake. Anything he says which might sort of sound good or cool in theory, is stripped of any emotion whatsoever, and in Lucha Underground which is so visceral and wild, you have this strange announcer speaking in monotone sentences about how amazing it is supposed to be. Does not come across well at all.
