Excellent😍 Better than the original if one asked me! Would Love to know the story behind Ondrej and other band members learned English so well, and not seeming to repeat (to them) meaningless word sounds? They clearly know what these word mean in everyday conversation of the 20's thru now! I am amazed and Gratefull that I have found them! Surprised to learn that Ondrej is my age! The way he beautifully dances in other clips is amazing! Saving my pennies to come to Europe some day and see and hear them, and Max Raabe and the Palast Orchestra , who I understand a little better when sings auf Deutsch. Also hope to see Henry de Winter, with the Bratislava hot serenaders, I think a trip like that would allow a happy last major excursion of my life! I just.hope I can save up or retire in time, and wish my late wife was with me. I could die a happy man!

MattMurdockCZ Thank You! I turn 62 Tomorrow and may be forced to retire.. it may happen soon and I will gladly let you know! I am not a wealthy man and am raising my Grandchildren without my late wife who passed away from leukemia 3 years ago. With Gods help, I will come to the Czech Republic and see its wonders, architectural and musical, and placed in Deutschland and Austria where some of my ancestors were from! Thank You and may God Bless all of you!

The understanding of the meanings of the words he's singing, it is actually very simple with Ondřej Havelka. He once explained before one of the next songs (Four or Five times, I believe) that he has an american friend that has been living in the Czech Republic for quite some time and understands Czech, thus he translates the lyrics to him and explains to him the context of the song. He said it before the song because he was worned that the song has 2 versions: one being less vulgar, the second one being more vulgar. He was singing the more vulgar one.

Ondřej used to have help from Gene Deitch, artist and cartoon director who lived in Prague from sixties until his dead in 2020.

Tahle skladba je téměř dokonalá, ta jediná chyba je, že je hrozně krátká :)

ok, but it's incredible how this band is amazing playing an american tune, i wonder how many american bands nowadays are so good
USA are on the west side of the planet: i only mean that good jazz now is not only american :-)

      do you live in prague?
there was a professor in my university, he had come from prague and he told me that that city is in central europe
by the way, is your nickname a quote from one of my favourite comics' characters? i love 'born again' by miller
perhaps some american ideas now belong to the world...
