I am a missionary in Pakistan with my wife. I just want to say that Sheryl is a strong woman. She fought that desire to settle down and trust God. Its a real battle that many women refuse to fight against. May God use you both mightily.

The same thing happened to me, all the doors of work were closed to me when I began to seek more and more from the Lord, the same path that happened to you guys. The Lord taught me how to live by faith, be humble, and look at his miracles every day. I met through TLRmap many people that the Lord began to send me. I worked with many of them sharing the gospel, and it was difficult because a few brothers began to tell me that I had to work for my own money, To sustain my own life by sharing the gospel. Those brothers twisted the gospel where it says that he who does not want to work does not eat either. I live in Mexico City and I continue to work sharing the gospel, I pray for the sick, I continue to see miracles and the Lord continues to connect me through TLR map with new brothers, In fact right now I'm preaching on the streets of Mexico with a brother who comes from Germany who's coming in passing because he's going to take luke 10 in Florida next week.
The road is not so easy but it is better to work for Jesus than to work for money And live a comfortable life. Life with Jesus is a great adventure.

Hi Lebo and Sheryl when I watched your video I was amazed and cried a bit how God transformed you and increased your faith! Same thing is happening with me actually I was persecuted heavily with an American billionaire and they hired detectives and paid corrupt policemen and government officials in my country the Philippines to persecute me but you know what? Everything had a purpose and God had His purpose on me! Same case with me like yours but a bit different in aspect I cannot apply for a job I cannot built my own business because of this persecution just as if God is telling me to live by FAITH! AND HE PROVIDES ALL ALONG! Living by faith is a requirement of the Lord to all believers. "But whoever has doubts is condemned if he eats, because the eating is not from faith. For whatever does not proceed from faith is sin.(Romans 14:23)" ; "For we walk by faith, not by sight. (2 Corinthians 5:7)"
Your love and humility towards our Lord is contagious and faith igniting! I look forward to see what the Holy Spirit of the Father will lead you into! Keep yielding! Keep obeying! Shalom! You are lavishly loved and cherished!

I have tears of joy and at the same time I feel like I am not living up for God like I am called to do when I see how confident you go to people. That is so brave and righteous. I have been on the Journey with God for many years now but I still feel sick somehow, like my heart is closing again and again which brings me to a state of anxiety to many times. I made the experience of praying for others and God would really work on them. I saw a light around those people and they would cry but soon after I felt very bad like I have been spiritually attacked, I felt like poisoned. Eversince I have not been praying for others outside my family because I am to afraid to get pushed back again. I like how you are talking about discipline and to first do the basics and I guess if you get a certain security about how you are living your everydaylife, living for God gets easier. Me and my wife and son moved from Sweden to Malta in October 2019 after God spoke to us about letting go of our comfort life to live by faith.
We love this life in Malta and can relate to everything you said, both about the hardship but also the beauty of seeing the faithfulness of God.

You said that God spoke to you. I, and probably millions of followers, heard this one from pastors, Bible Study leaders, etc. But I'm wondering how did God speak to you?
Also, I've been hungering for this close relationship of direct communication from God for decades. Yes _for decades._ I prayed, fasted, did prayer walks, am born again, rebaptized recently during TLR event, take Holy Communion, etc.
So far, I've been using my own logic or reasoning about where, when, how to share the Good News. Why? Because I never heard God speak to me; not even in dreams or vision.
Thanks for any insight you can share to figure my way out of this fog.

That was a good question :-)
God spoke to us on several occasions, both to me and my wife personally. Not with a external voice but through visions and he put emotions inside of us about it that we felt was from God. Then God confirmed it through other people that really convinced us that he wanted us to move.

You can't use your hearth to determine if a message is from God. Jeremiah 17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?
@@banzaiduck By repenting God took the stoney heart out of us and gave us a new soft and fleshly heart. Then when we bury our old life by being baptized by full immersion and receive the Holy Spirit, we have become a new creation. So now God can communicate from His heart to our heart, because His Spirit lives together with our Spirit now.

I’m encouraged to hear this. I have a brother that spoke the same words, that the Lord wants to do a work right where I live. A second witness is amazing. To be truthful when things don’t work out, I get scared. I want to run and get a job. What keeps me going is- I am not a slave anymore, but a servant of Christ. God Bless you all!

Whether one works a regular job, or not, the message of living by faith and trusting our heavenly Father is for all of us. Inflation, shortages, etc, The world says build bigger and prep. God says don't worry, look at the birds and seek first My kingdom. No matter where we are, this is for everyone of us.
I sobbed at this video. I really felt this video. I been thinking wanting a career and it seems like god is making me wait for the sake to pray for my coworkers and be a light and it’s just gets extremely hard. God has done miracles at my job witnesses and helping others at work. Sometime so feel like god just wants me to suffer. But we all know God is good and everything we do in this life is vanity but serving his kingdom is forever. Very needed encouragement video! Thanks for clarifying whether to move or not! It’s like out of panic I wanna move just to “think that I’m serving god because i did a radical movement”. And it really is about the heart. Like the man that wanted to follow Jesus with him but he said “no , go back to your city and testify..”

Thank you Brother and Sister for this encouraging message. I regret not getting to know you more, met you in passing before the Ark closed and left to follow the lead of the Holy Spirit, to my next open door. I can relate so much with how things happened with both of you. I too heard God speak to me, telling me to GO. Took me close to a year to finally see the reality of His word.
When I got accepted for Luke10 School, I knew it was time. I gave notice to my work and left my 30 year career working in surgery, put a for sale sign in front of my house, sold, packed, donated and gave away so much of my life and got to the Ark, all because God had given me a word.... GO.
I get it, living by Faith is so challenging, but I have learned and grown so much in ways I would’ve never if I didn’t in this way.
I love this life!! Being a Disciple of Christ Jesus! I love people! I love sharing the Gospel! I love seeing lives touched and transformed by Jesus! I love seeing the world!
God willing I will sit and properly meet you both somewhere in the Harvest, in the Mission Field!!

It is so beautiful how our dear Lord guides each of His children in such a personal and individual way. The Lord closed the doors to me to finish my degree and I really haven't ever felt that any regular job would satisfy me anyways. I want to serve Him and I know there is more and He has been talking to me about it. I just pray that I can hear His voice and obey when He calls me.
This testimony is so powerful, yes this calling is not for everyone. Im thankful that you guys took a leap of faith and are trusting God. I pray that God will become more real to you guys for His glory.

Wow! This is amazing. I just quit my job because it was starting to show me a future I didn’t want. Recently, I’ve been worrying about how I’m going to pay for stuff. This is showing me that I don’t have enough faith. I pray that I’m able to increase my faith!

I think the most amazing Heroes of faith are the ones that serve the Lord faithfully over many years in their locality, quietly serving the Lord in humble adoration, working to make their own income to sustain themselves (and seeing their work places as a Mission field) - to be honest, I have always had a problem understanding why some Christians go out on Mission trips etc. hoping/expecting for others to fund them financially? Often over many years.
Christians that serve humbly and with hearts full of passion (which is not easy when you are staying in a place for a long time and REALLY get to know people with all their strengths and weaknesses....) in their localities don't get much human admiration, only God sees what they do on a day to day - those are the Heroes of faith and I thank everyone from the bottom of my heart that serves Him in that quiet way, He sees you :)

Same thing happened to me before I went to Luke 10 school. I thought maybe I am supposed to go back to work and save up for a year so I can take time off to be a missionary so I applied for so many jobs and nothing. And I’ve been living by faith as a missionary sharing the gospel ever since.
