That '54 is gorgeous! I had a '53 that was worn out, bland white, back in 1966 or so. So I painted it. Light blue top, dark blue body ... with a paint brush. All I had and was glad to have that.
That's awesome. My grandfather had a 41 Chevy he bought used off a relative back in the day. It was green and tan and the relative didn't like the tan so they painted the whole car green with a paint brush. It still has that coat of paint on it to this day.
That Bel Air is gorgeous!
Favorite body style of the Bel Air, and really just made 100 times better! If I had a '54, i'd want it done EXACTLY like this!
Profound. "A car isn't really a car until you actually see it moving, or else it's just a piece of art" TIMELESS!!! He's a real car guy. Can't thank you guys enough for a wonderful show. TY!
Typical builds from the best custom designer in the business,Chip Foose. Gorgeous cars that live up to the reputation of what a hot rod should be. Thanks for this fabulous video!
Excellent workmanship. Either one of these cars would fit very nicely in my garage, and that’s where it would stay as I would be too afraid to drive it. Great video. Very entertaining
Beautiful video Beautiful cars thank you
54, my first car. It holds a special place. Forever one of my favorites.
That is the nicest 53/54 Chevy I’ve ever seen. Take care and drive it well.
Appreciate these old cars restored and the custom work. Much respect. The 54 way cool.
Beautiful cars, done up right. Old look but modern suspension and power. Subtle changes to body to make more pleasing to the eye and make it more a one off. Kudos to Chip Foose and the Wesley group for their collaboration. Stunning engine compartments too.
Beautiful. I appreciate all this work.
Beautiful cars! Great workmanship.
That 54 is gorgeous!!
Never seen a Foose I didn’t love! I was born that year too. I wish I looked that good!
Awesome cars! Dennis has the very best job on planet Earth!!
THE CHEVY BEL-AIR...BEAUTIFUL. MY VERY FIRST CHOICE.
That Bel Air are so nice. Dream car. Perfect cruiser.
I saw a guy on you tube a while ago who took 4 door 50's chevrolets , and made them into 2 door. I wonder what happened to him ?.
Foose does amazing work! I have to say, the 1935 Chevy has weird looking gaps around the fender and tires. The rest of the car is absolutely gorgeous!
What a beutiful couple of cars, Chip is a MASTER CRAFTSMAN
wow that grandmaster was awesome
After looking at this build a few more time, I now prefer these lines, shapes, and silhouette over the later Tri-5's. Admittedly, the 57 Bel-Air 2-door is very pleasing in some color combos, and they are all nice - but this one has become one of my all time favorite "remodels" of a 50's Chevy. This is some classy shaping and subtle customizing. Well done, hats off to all :)
Chip Foose is one 1⃣ of the best car builders ever he can come up with a drawing based on what the customer tells him they want whether it be something on the wild side or a barely noticeable custom, and the ✌ cars in this video prove that
All the tri fives can be made to look better with less being done to them than a lot of other makes the mid 50s Fords do come close in the less is more version of customizing a car both brand lend themselves to modern colors and paint schemes nicely
The Foose magic comes from his Dad and his proper training. He has no equal when the subject is the design and creation of absolutely bespoke custom automobiles.
Wow that ‘35 - Chip is such a visionary. Wonder if the guy has the original sketches. The interior is simple perfection. He takes his crew out for a quick happy hour in HB sometimes!
Ne söyleyim zevkinize hayranım. Sayelerinizde zamanı canlı yaşadık. Çok teşekkür ederiz. Gerçekten çok güzel.
Muchas Felicidades Joven Por Su Canal.

That Bel Air is really spectacular. I love everything about it. Chip Foose rules! 👍🏼
Amazing couple!
Absolutely a rolling piece of art work ! All his cars are just amazing 🤩. Sadly how does one enjoy driving these cars without worrying to death about the “what if’s” in life. How could you not want to drive this everyday everywhere ! Gorgeous ! However, what does a person do when something goes wrong or breaks on these cars ? Where do you go to get it fixed ? Who do you call if it does not start one day ? I could not buy this car and then just park it at the house, I would want to drive it all the time, especially to show off Chip’s hard work and his talent ! Incredible how they are able to mix and match all the different car brands, models and features to make these perfect 1 of a kind masterpieces.
Foose is a genius and his team are second to none. I love everything he builds. The Grand Master is beautiful but the '54 is just gorgeous.
And those interiors....Chip does every detail to perfection.
I owned a 53 Belair myself. However it was built for drag racing when I got finished with it, Straight axle...L-88 motor with fender well headers so I could uncap em @ the strip. Cheater slicks...Turbo 400 trans w/brake....4:88 gears. Bench seat with the B/M shifter on the floor. Ran it in the SS/automatic class in the day...It ran in the B/MP class...So much fun!
Pudgy is a good descriptive term for the 54 Chevrolet Bel Air. However, I have come to like them more and more as the years go by. I have seen many 54 Bel Airs that are very good looking and it really helps when they are lowered. This one has very subtle styling "improvements" that help it earn its name "Cool Air."
Beautiful! Gr8 editing.
I love that Belair... Id ride in it every day
Wow and wow!
Great looking cars and what a great day they had to make this video WOW
Breathtaking
i love all your videos dennis, keep up the great work please.
Works of art
Two completely different designed cars but both beautiful. Chip is the Master Designer.
Love the shaker.
Prolly the nicest looking '54 out there :)
So lovely cars.....
Gotta say Mr. Rydell opens his shop for a show every year, and no ropes, even puts it up on the lift, you can stand under it and look at the wonderful work. He drives them to work, out to eat, and just takes them out for fun. Thanks for the great shows every year!
Ol chip
You don’t much hear about the supper hero much anymore.
Such a skilled person.
Fat model year of Chevrolet was always one of my favorites. You don't see many of them on the road and it was a beautiful design
Beautiful
That Bel Air is so good
Very nice cars
I like chip foose's cars
love the Bell Air
Chip gets all the ink, so to speak, but his dad is no slouch either.
Nice cars 🌴😀🌴
Chip's amazing!!!
Like Chip to have a go at my MGB just to see what could be possible
Very coolautiful!
The cool air. When you get ready to sell let me know. Beautiful car.
Man thats nice man
Sublime.
Best looking ‘54 ever?
Im in love with that 54 my grandfather had 2 .
It always amazes me how you can take so many cars from the teens thru the 60's, lower them, and they look like they were designed that way.
True but trust me The Grandmaster has been changed in every way, yet still looks like it came that way in 35
That engine compartment is super impressive.
Dennis, you need this on the Lloyd.
typical bandit cars of those times
CHIP FOOSE IS A PURE CLASS AMERICAN
That 54 is sweet.
The Bel Air is perfect. I was never a fan of Chip’s work his cars always lose the charm of the original but sometimes he does do a great job keeping the original feel like with this 54
The 54 is the car... I had a 50 back in the day also had a Pontiac chieftain wagon..
Тачки - восторг!
A lot of work for wat it is? But eccelent work for wat it is, willy. Love it
Both unbelievable but I'll take the 54 for practicality purposes...
HERMOSOS.
The Bel Air looks great, but those seats need head restraints.
Chip Foose is the modern day Leonardo da Vinci, at least in the auto industry.
A true artist. I have a burning in my loins as a result of watching this video OMG... pass the wet wipes !!!!
Chips awesome
And here I thought the Grand Master endet up in New Zealand.
I did actually see it in Picton/New Zealand...
Beautiful 54
Grandmaster reminds me of a pt cruiser ;)
That Brown and cream makes any thing that much cooler 54 I sharp
Those mid-thirties coupes (Ford, Chev, Plymouth) were all gorgeous, with those long flowing wings; the forties blobs were ugly by comparison, and there's some hangover in that Chevy, but the two-tone paint does a good job of flattering those lines..
this guy must have some seriously expensive insurance with all the cars I've seen him drive lol
Mr. Dennis.....What brand of rims are on the Grand Master? They seem to be spinning backwards when moving. Any thing you could share would be great!. Thank you for the love you have for Classic Cars!!
Chip Foose should call Pagani and Koenigsegg design/build together. Imagine the quality & beauty of an automobile those three artists could produce.
My Dad had a 53 he Drove to work then gave it to my Sister to Drive us to School...3 on the Tree...She had a hard time learning to Drive it....Lot of times trying to take off in 3rd...I thought it was Ugly but I wish I had it now.
In my opinion, Chip blows Boyd Coddington's designs out of the water.
I don't mean to be rude, but I think that you might be missing the point. In regards to the best craftsmen, in any field, one's work is not necessarily better than the others, because by necessity it doesn't need to be. They are just... different. That's what makes it so individual and special; there is truly something for everyone.
Ummmm... Chip WAS Coddington's best work. He was Boyd's top designer on his best builds (given the period).
The thing is boyd took other people's designs and slapped his name on them. Foose tends to designe nice vehicles but he almost always takes the soul away from the original car
Ace Angel - I have to disagree a bit. Boyd's name was on everything to come out of his design studio... no different from anyone else. Chip usually gives credit to his collaborators. Boyd rarely did... but that was his prerogative.... same as Chrysler.
Also, Chip's designs "take the soul away from the original car"? If you don't design something that diverges from the original design, you haven't built a custom car... you've merely accented someone else's design. If that's all you're looking for, there are thousands of automotive shops out there that will gladly provide you with thousands of examples of what you're looking for.
We're talking about two DESIGNERS, not mere customizers. It takes a lot more skill to build a car from the ground up, only using influences of the original design, than it does to simply add custom touches.
@@driverjamescopeland no I understand I just think Boyd's design team always left the the car a little more original than chips team. I understand they are custom designers and it's just a matter of opinion. I like fooses work better but it's not like foose and boyd are building the same car to be able to compare. I guess I'm just more into classic originals. Customs are cool but original Is my preference
Grand master for a grand wizard...
Joe rogan added car built by chip foose and absolutely stunning build. But it was never meant to be a daily driver and things started to loosen up and literally fall off... like the front end. The end up spending are trying to change getting the car right and then sold it. But just absolutely gorgeous car
People with more money than brains, more power to 'em!
54 all the why 💪🏾
Good
😱🤩❤️❤️❤️❤️
Like 🚂
There has to be a point where you think you would say.... hmm time to trim off the mustache. I had mine for over 29 years and finally took it off and it feels so much better gone!
Clunk clunk clunk...54 goes CLUNK
Both are so beautiful and I am a sucker for suicide doors but if I had to choose just one(OMG!) it would be the root beer '54. I was born in '54 so it would be perfect!
Am I the only one that hears a rattle while the coolair is being driven , something along the line of exhaust pipes hitting something ?
I realize these cars are not driven very much. But when they are how do they deal with rock chips??
Mister Foose, thank you very mutch, you are Great! Best Wishes from Germany!
