I agree, Drinking guyabano and eating Cassava cake feels like I'm in heaven when I was young.
And I'm from Dumaguete 😉
I used to hate my country the philippines for having too much islands and not like other nations where they have one land mass that we don't need to use RORO to transport our vehicles.
On the other side, I learned to realize the value coz it gave the Philippines more beach sides with 7,000 plus islands. Almost every Filipino inhabitants are located along the seafront.
And beaches aren't overcrowded coz it has so many.
Philippines is the real Paradise Islands
I hitting the Phil's for my 3rd time this year, for atleast 3 weeks minimum like my last trip, great place, great people, lots of amazing wildlife and natural sights and sound.

@@DivertLiving yeah. Every month there are provinces, cities do their festivals. Now, October is Bacolod's festival called "Masskara festival". Bacolod is the home of Chicken inasal and during the festival you could choose from different kiosk that serves bbw chicken. Mang Inasal? Though it's good but we don't recommend it. Haha

Island hopping is so beautiful and relaxing, also bring the whole family, or 20 of your friends, it's really inexpensive, also if you ever see a coconut stand have them cut one open for you and pop a straw in it, it's delicious. I never liked coconut juice before that. Take care.

You've gone all South but not farthest south to Mindanao or northwards. So you're really missing a lot. Philippines is so diverse in natural wonders, landscape, culture, people and food that it'll take you like years to explore and experience everything. You just seen the tip of the iceberg but still worthwhile. Next trip ask for the locals which other places to visit aside from our beach paradises. Kudos and more success! Mabuhay!

It's great especially when eaten with either a soy sauce with calamansi (a small variant of lemon) and chili or the free soup that's usually sour soup. Because of the number of people in the branches though, a lot of Mang Inasal's suffer from bad service with their unli rice promo and all that.

The jeepney is iconic not just because of its look but of the experience you will get there. You will learn to socialize while riding it and learn cooperation and honesty while passing over your fare to each commuters until it reaches the driver, same with handing back the spare change to you

Thanks a lot, you guys! Right as I thought I made up my mind and decided I want to go visit the wonderful people and culture of Thailand, you put up this video. Ok, at this point, unless you post another video that once again changes my mind, I will have to write Thailand on a piece of paper and stick it to the wall. Then I will also have to write Philippines on a piece of paper and put it on the wall next to the other paper. Then, get blindfolded and spin around until I'm dizzy and throw a dart and see which one I hit. Of course, I will probably hit the shelf with a book about Vietnam. LOL Great job you two. I remember last year when I went back home to the Philippines together with my husband, I was so sceptical about him very interested to commute using the tricycle and jeep since we don't have those here in Denmark. He just said this "it's a once in a lifetime experience". He likes also PH food. Im so glad that I introduced him to my culture.
