Link! You don't have to be cremated - alkaline hydrolysis is environmentally friendly and leaves you with remains like cremated remains. So many options!

You guys should look into Aquamation (water cremation) for a more environmentally friendly form of disposition!!! You get your wish to be ashes and still love and protect your Mother Earth! 😁💀💧⚱️🌎💚 Another option, CA has recently made legal the option of NOR/human composting! You could become one with nature and even feed loved ones flower gardens. 🥰🌱🌻

Cremation is far better for the environment than traditional burial. Sure, fossil fuels may power the crematorium, but other than that it doesn't vent anything into the atmosphere or anything, and it doesn't fill enormous fields with people who are medically treated to not decay inside of boxes designed not to decay in plastic clothes as in a traditional burial. There are other environmentally friendly options though, like being liquified or being buried buck nekkid without embalming in a compostable coffin with no, or a temporary, headstone.

Aquamation and terramation are both legal in California I believe. Both great alternatives to cremation and they're both green as well
I would choose Cuddle Queen Jean hands down. She would give such a soothing and respectful and slightly comedic eulogy that everyone would walk away feeling a lil better I think.

Since Link keeps Losing so much during the international Dart episodes I think the rules should get changed next
I want a disadvantage added for the winner like Rhett since he's won 7 times in a row
If Rhett is leading by x points, then his score per throw will double. So if Rhett has 70 cm, and Link has 120 cm and is losing, Rhett gets 20 cm on the next throw if he gets 10 cm, for example. If he misses by 20, then he'll get 40. 5? Then it's 10. That way Rhett will also need to up his game, and aim, if he still wants to win.
Or just a blindfold in one round for the previous winner instead of just a special dart for the loser.

I think Rhett might like alkaline hydrolysis, alias aquamation. It’s more environmentally friendly than cremation but you still get “ashes” to spread around and it’s legal in California since 2020.

Rhett, if you're serious about getting cremated but care about the environmentally friendly nature of it, you could always choose aquamation, and your family would receive 20% more ash.

Hey, just wanted to let y'all know there's now the option to have your body composted! Recompose is the company that does it. They have a facility near Seattle, WA, already, and more to come in a few other states (including CA) in a couple years. Environmentally friendly AND you can still have your kids spread your remains haha.
And there is aquamation as well. Like cremation but instead of fire it's water, lye, and heat

How is cremation bad for the environment? The gas used to burn? Vs the carbon footprint of the construction of a casket, the equipment used to dig the holes, the cars traveling to the gravesite.
The carbon emissions are a lot with cremation. Other options like alkaline hydrolysis and natural organic reduction are actually green options along with green burial.

I think my most unhinged funeral take is that I want to be cremated, and my ashes put in little baggies, and then whoever wants some ashes they can have them. Then they can spread the ashes wherever they feel like!

As weird as it seems a natural burial would be great. Don’t like the idea of being in a vault underground forever, and cremation also seems like a strange way to go plus someone’s either gotta look after my ashes forever or find somewhere to spread them, like??? So just taking my raw body and like burying it just deep enough so coyotes or dogs don’t dig it up and letting it go back to the earth seems pretty chill to me and the way things should be
When my kids papa passed away, their aunt took several shirts and had them made into bears for the kids. It was incredibly sweet and a great idea.

To answer the Build a Bear ashes question- yes they did. Many times. I worked there for a few years and it was always a tough conversation to tell them no, but like we literally can’t handle ashes or contaminate the bear building equipment with it
